NHL trade deadline: Trade grades for every big deal

Ryan McDonagh, J.T. Miller to the Lightning

The deal:

Tampa Bay Lightning get: D Ryan McDonagh, C J.T. Miller

New York Rangers get: C/LW Vladislav Namestnikov, D Libor Hajek, C Brett Howden, 2018 first-round pick, conditional 2019 second-round pick.

Rangers, Lightning both win big in McDonagh blockbuster.

Tomas Tatar to the Golden Knights

The deal:

Vegas Golden Knights get: LW Tomas Tatar

Detroit Red Wings get: 2018 first-round pick, 2019 second-round pick, 2021 third-round pick

Thomas Vanek to the Blue Jackets

The deal:

Columbus Blue Jackets get: LW Thomas Vanek

Vancouver Canucks get: C Tyler Motte, LW Jussi Jokinen

Evander Kane to the Sharks

The deal:

San Jose Sharks get: LW Evander Kane

Buffalo Sabres get: C Danny O'Regan, conditional 2019 first-round pick, conditional 2020 fourth-round pick. If the Sharks re-sign Kane, it's a 2019 first-round pick; if they do not, it's a second-round pick.

Sharks get Kane for bargain price.

Paul Stastny to the Jets

The deal:

Winnipeg Jets get: C Paul Stastny

St. Louis Blues get: 2018 first-round pick, 2020 4th-round pick, C Erik Foley
