Everyone but Aaron Rodgers at Packers' practice

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers had 52 of their 53 players on the practice field Wednesday. The one missing, however, was a big one.

As expected, quarterback Aaron Rodgers was not seen inside the Don Hutson Center as the Packers began preparations for Sunday's NFC Championship Game at the Seattle Seahawks.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Rodgers would meet with team physician Dr. Pat McKenzie before Wednesday's practice and then they would set a plan for the week. It's expected to be similar to -- if not exactly the same as -- last week, when Rodgers' only practice participation came on Thursday.

"It will be a similar schedule this week as far as practice time," Rodgers said Tuesday on his ESPN Milwaukee radio show. "But I'll be definitely playing."

The full injury report will be available after practice.

The Packers practiced indoors and with the doors closed unlike last week, when they left them open to try to replicate the cold conditions they expected for last Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The early forecast for game day in Seattle calls for a high of 51 degrees and light rain. And no, McCarthy didn't set up sprinklers inside the Hutson Center.
