Calf injury limits Aaron Rodgers in practice

GREEN BAY, Wis. – It doesn't necessarily mean that Aaron Rodgers won't take part in some portion of practice but during the part that was open to reporters on Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers quarterback was seen heading out the back door of the Don Hutson Center toward the training area.

One thing is clear: The left calf injury Rodgers sustained in Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will prevent him from getting his usual workload in practice in advance of this Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field.

On Tuesday, Rodgers took part in the Packers' light practice and said he expected to be able to move around well enough to play on Sunday.

Other than Rodgers, the Packers had their entire roster of players on the practice field.

The full injury report and comments from Packers coach Mike McCarthy will be available after practice.
