Think back over the past decade of SEC football. What are the plays that defined those 10 years?
Where do Auburn’s Kick-Six and Prayer at Jordan-Hare rank on the list? What about Matt Flynn’s last-second touchdown pass to Demetrius Byrd to give eventual BCS champion LSU a 2007 win over Auburn? Or any assortment of highlight-reel plays by Johnny Manziel, Tim Tebow and Cam Newton?
Our SEC writers put their heads together and came up with a list of the 25 most iconic plays in the last decade of SEC football. We begin the countdown now with plays 21-25:
21. Marcell Dareus interception, TD vs. Texas: Dareus was the star of the night when Nick Saban claimed his first BCS title at Alabama in 2010. He laid the hit on Colt McCoy that knocked the Texas quarterback out of the game and later picked off a deflected shovel pass and returned it for a touchdown to put Alabama up 24-3 at halftime. On his way to the end zone, Dareus tossed Longhorns quarterback Garrett Gilbert to the ground and put an impressive spin move on tackle Kyle Hix.
22. A.J. Green one-handed TD catch against Colorado: On paper, this is not a particularly memorable play. It was just a 3-yard touchdown catch, in a loss to a bad Colorado team no less. But Green’s leaping, one-handed grab over Colorado’s Jalil Brown is a perfect example of the artistry he displayed over three seasons at Georgia. Despite the loss, the Colorado game (seven catches, 119 yards, two touchdowns, plus a 40-yard run) was one of Green’s best with the Bulldogs.
23. Darren McFadden 73-yard run touchdown vs. LSU: This is more a reward for McFadden’s overall body of work in Arkansas' triple-overtime 50-48 win over No. 1 LSU in 2007. The run itself -- a direct snap on which he faked a handoff and exploded down the sideline for a 73-yard touchdown -- was great, but McFadden deserves to be on this list for his full performance that day: 32 carries for 206 yards and three touchdowns, plus 3-for-6 passing for 34 yards and one more TD.
24. Ahmad Black interception vs. Oklahoma: Florida’s defense deserves credit for shutting down Oklahoma’s prolific passing game in the 2009 BCS championship game. We might not remember the game that way, though, if not for Ahmad Black. With the Gators clinging to a 17-14 lead and 10 minutes to play, Black snatched the ball away from Sooners receiver Juaquin Iglesias to pick off a pass at the Florida 24-yard line. The Gators then drove for a touchdown that put them up by 10 points in the waning minutes.

25. Ole Miss deflected touchdown against Alabama: The defining moment in Ole Miss’ 2015 upset of Alabama came early in the third quarter. With the Rebels facing third-and-1, their shotgun snap sailed high and quarterback Chad Kelly tipped it in the air before launching a desperation heave under heavy pressure. Rebels receiver Laquon Treadwell got his hands on the ball at the Ole Miss 40 between two Alabama defenders and deflected it to teammate Quincy Adeboyejo, who caught it and ran 66 yards for a touchdown.
