Scout's Take: Five-star CB Tyson Campbell to Georgia

Georgia has secured its third five-star for the 2018 class with the addition of CB Tyson Campbell. Read below for an inside look at this unique skill set headed to Athens:

What he brings: For his size (6-foot-3, 181 pounds), he runs and moves exceptionally well. Tall corner with excellent length, speed and athleticism. Closes fast with explosive burst out of his pedal. He will insert himself as a run defender as well and has a very bright future given his physical growth potential.

How he fits: Georgia is getting a rare talent who is physically ready to contribute for defensive coordinator Mel Tucker and should see time in early packages given his scheme versatility and supreme blend of size, speed and athleticism. He has been well coached and while his skill set can still be refined, the learning curve will not be very steep.

Who he reminds us of: (Quenton Meeks, Stanford). Two big, strong corners with physicality. Meeks was a less-heralded prospect out of high school than this current five-star but reached his physical upside, which we project Campbell will do.
