We're looking at some of the top individual performances in the Pac-12 in 2013.
Up next: He Huffed and he puffed and he blew the Beavers down
Who and against whom: Josh Huff put the Ducks on his shoulders in their 36-35 victory over Oregon State in the Civil War.
The numbers: Huff caught a career-high nine passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns -- 28, 12, and 12 yards, respectively -- averaging 20.7 yards per catch.
A closer look: Oregon didn't close the season looking its best, particularly on offense, and it's important to understand just how close the Ducks were to losing this game. (Feel free to chime in on this one, Beavers fans.) Huff not only caught three TD passes, he scored the Ducks' final three touchdowns. Beyond that, each one gave the Ducks the lead, first at 24-20, then at 30-29 and then, with just 29 seconds left in the game, the final tally at 36-35. His second TD came on a fourth-and-11 play with eight minutes left in the game. Eight of his nine receptions resulted in first downs or touchdowns. You'd have to say Huff was pretty darn clutch in this one. As for the final TD reception, after the game, Ducks QB Marcus Mariota gave all the credit to Huff. "Quite frankly, it was a bad throw," Mariota said. "Huff made a great catch. I said, 'Thank you, man, that would've looked bad.'" Let's put it like this, Oregon fans, how would the 2013 season feel if Huff doesn't come up big?
