Scout's Take: WR Isaah Crocker to Oregon

ESPN 300 WR Isaah Crocker is Oregon's latest pickup, as new head coach Mario Cristobal continues to finish strong with his 2018 class. Read below to see why Crocker and fellow recent addition Jalen Hall are helping the Ducks build a well-rounded group of receivers:

What he brings: A physically impressive receiver with a good combination of size, quickness and above average top-end speed. He has good lower-body strength to pull through tackles after the catch. He's difficult to wrap up and shows start-stop ability with a good initial burst. Crocker is comfortable going over the middle and has a wide catch radius. He's a good route runner who can get vertical. He possesses good hands, quickness and attractive measurables for the position. A high-level power five prospect with improved suddenness and polished route-running skills.

How he fits: Oregon got longer and faster this week with the additions of Hall and Crocker. Oregon looks to be almost 6-foot-1 or taller across the board now at wide receiver with Dillon Mitchell and Alex Ofodile in the fold, but still has the likes of Jalen Redd and Malik Lovette as their undersized space players. Most important, Oregon is as relevant as ever in the State of California with their moves this week.

Reminds us of: D.J. Chark, LSU -- Both have pretty good size/speed combinations and can separate vertically as route runners. Crocker will continue to add bulk and showcase similar stature over time.

How the class is shaping up: Cristobal managed to keep the Ducks' class together despite very little time to do so. Signing ESPN 300 signal caller Tyler Shough is huge for depth and development at the position. Receiving letters of intent from ESPN 300s Steve Stephens, versatile athlete Jevon Holland and powerful guard Steven Jones was paramount for recruiting efforts in California. The same can be said for signing ESPN 300 tackle Dawson Jaramillo from inside state lines. Keeping ESPN 300 running back Jamal Elliott out of North Carolina in the fold turned into another key signing. Under Armour All-America Game linebacker Adrian Jackson covers like a safety.
