Top Buffalo Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who is entering the final season of his rookie contract, reported to the team this week in advance of its mandatory minicamp.
Gilmore, who did not participate in voluntary organized team activities the past three weeks, took a page out of Marshawn Lynch's playbook when he tweeted a message Monday about his arrival to minicamp, which begins Tuesday and runs through Thursday.
I'm just here so I won't get fined 😏

Teammate Ronald Darby told reporters last week that Gilmore told him he would likely report to minicamp this week, so Monday's development isn't a surprise.
However, it remains unclear whether Gilmore will report to training camp, which begins July 30. Because Gilmore is under contract, he would be subject to fines if he holds out in hopes of reaching a new deal with the team.
Gilmore is set to earn $11.08 million under the fifth-year option of his rookie deal, signed after he was selected 10th overall in 2012. Gilmore is expected to command a deal in the range of the five-year, $75 million contract that Josh Norman signed with the Washington Redskins, which included $50 million in guaranteed money.
