New York Giants add another weapon, still have questions on offensive line

Here are the biggest post-draft questions still to be answered by the New York Giants:

Is their offensive line good enough? The only offensive lineman added to the mix came with their final pick, and it’s unlikely that Pittsburgh’s Adam Bisnowaty is going to contribute immediately. That leaves the tackle position unsettled. The Giants appear to be rolling with Ereck Flowers, Bobby Hart and D.J. Fluker. That could end poorly, though the Giants' brass seems to think that the perception that is a weak group isn't reality.

Do they sign RB LeGarrette Blount? There was some mutual interest between Blount and the Giants before the draft. But the Giants selected Clemson’s Wayne Gallman in the fourth round Saturday. It seems unlikely now for Blount to land with Big Blue, considering they have Gallman, Paul Perkins, Shane Vereen, Orleans Darkwa and Shaun Draughn on the roster. One would think Blount (the NFL’s leader in touchdowns last season with the New England Patriots) has a better available option.

Did they find their successor to Eli Manning? The Giants drafted Davis Webb in the third round out of California. They felt the value was too good to pass up for a player some thought could land in the first round. Webb has physical skills. General manager Jerry Reese thought Webb had the best arm in the draft. But Webb has some accuracy issues, and there are doubts about whether he can lead a winning team. Even though the Giants drafted a potential future franchise quarterback, questions remain about whether they have one to replace Manning. Only time will tell.

Where is the defensive back depth? The Giants lost Coty Sensabaugh this offseason and didn’t re-sign Trevin Wade. They added Valentino Blake as a free agent and didn’t draft a cornerback. They remain thin behind Janoris Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Eli Apple. It wouldn't surprise if the Giants still look to add a veteran to the mix.

Who is the kicker? The Giants signed Aldrick Rosas after the season. He has never kicked in an NFL game. Is he the answer? The Giants will add some competition but could be scouring the waiver wire prior to the season as well. Their kicker position is up in the air.
