As NFL teams prepare to trim their rosters to 75 players by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday, let's follow up with some former New England Patriots who didn't make the cut with their new teams:
Kyle Auffray -- Tight end from New Hampshire who was with the Patriots briefly in spring camps this year was waived by the Raiders on Monday.
Jermaine Cunningham -- The 2010 second-round draft choice tore his Achilles in a Jets intrasquad scrimmage on Aug. 2 and is out for the year. He was competing for a roster spot as a situational pass-rusher.
Ras-I Dowling -- After positive reports about his performance in spring minicamps, the 2011 second-round pick was waived by the Jets this week after some nagging injuries in training camp. Given the Jets' cornerback shortage, Dowling's release doesn't appear to bode well for his chances to land elsewhere.
Reggie Dunn -- Former practice squad receiver and speedy returner was waived by Arizona on Monday.
Brandon Jones -- The former undrafted defensive back from Rutgers who spent time with the Patriots last year was waived by the Chiefs on Monday.
R.J. Mattes -- Practice squad offensive lineman in 2013 was waived by the Buccaneers on Monday.
T.J. Moe -- Slot receiver who generated some media-based excitement last spring in New England before tearing his Achilles was waived by the Rams on Monday.
Taylor Price -- The 2010 third-round pick who never emerged at receiver in New England landed on injured reserve with the Seahawks on July 29.
Matt Stankiewitch -- Former undrafted free-agent center who was with the team in 2013 training camp from Penn State was waived by the Jaguars with an injury settlement Aug. 20.
Jeremiah Warren -- An undrafted free agent from 2012 out of South Florida who spent training camp with New England that year, he was waived by the Browns on Monday.
Cierre Wood -- The former Notre Dame running back who spent Nov. 5-Dec. 27 on the Patriots' practice squad was waived by the Ravens on Monday.
Markus Zusevics -- Offensive lineman spent two years (2012-13) with the Patriots, mostly behind the scenes, and was hoping to hook on with the Jets, who waived him Monday.
