Tyreek Hill among four Chiefs to make the Pro Bowl

SELECTIONS

Eric Berry, S, fifth Pro Bowl selection: This might have been the best of Berry’s seven NFL seasons. He delivered big plays in two narrow Chiefs wins down the stretch, first getting a pick-6 against the Panthers to spark a fourth-quarter rally and then getting both a pick-6 and a fourth-quarter pick-2 (with the Falcons going for two after a late touchdown) to lift the Chiefs to a one-point win over Atlanta. Berry was superb against the run and excellent in coverage on the tight end.

Tyreek Hill, KR, first Pro Bowl selection: The rookie is as electric a return specialist as the league has seen for a while. He leads the league in punt return average at 14.0 and would be fourth in kickoff return average at 28.2 except he doesn’t have enough returns to qualify. Hill has two touchdowns on returns and had two others brought back by penalties.

Travis Kelce, TE, second Pro Bowl selection: He leads all tight ends with 73 catches and is second in yards with 957. He recently had a streak of four games of at least 100 receiving yards. His numbers have received a boost this season, as the Chiefs have moved him around the formation in search of getting him favorable matchups.

Marcus Peters, CB, second Pro Bowl selection: Peters started to receive the ultimate honor for a cornerback this season. Opposing quarterbacks have avoided throwing his way at times, but Peters still has five interceptions. He also forced and recovered a fumble in the final minute of a November game against the Panthers that led to the Chiefs' game-winning field goal.
