SELECTIONS

T.Y. Hilton, WR, third Pro Bowl selection: Hilton is second in the league in receiving yards (1,248), just five yards behind Atlanta's Julio Jones. Hilton might be able to pass Jones because the Falcons receiver has been dealing with a toe injury. Hilton's big-play ability is evident in the fact he leads the league with 25 receptions of at least 20 yards. He has five games at least 100 yards receiving, including games of 174 and 171 yards.

Pat McAfee, P, second Pro Bowl selection: Full-time punter. Full-time kick-off specialist. Part-time comedian. Two-time Pro Bowler. The entertaining punter is tied with Carolina's Andy Lee for the league lead in punting average at 49.1 yards. McAfee is third in the league in punts inside the 20-yard line with 17. That number should be higher but the Colts fumbled away several punts that landed inside the 5-yard line. McAfee will get a $250,000 bonus for making the team, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

SNUBS

Andrew Luck, QB: The fifth-year quarterback is on pace to have a career high in completion percentage and is fifth in the league in touchdown passes with 27. The problem Luck faced is that the Colts are just 7-7 and the three quarterbacks who beat him out -- Tom Brady, Derek Carr and Ben Roethlisberger -- are on teams that are in a position to make the playoffs.
