The Indianapolis Colts open the preseason at 1 p.m. ET Sunday vs. the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. Here's a couple things to watch for during the game:

Why watch: Speed. Speed. And more speed at receiver. I'm not even referring to the new $65-million receiver T.Y. Hilton, either, because his playing time is expected to be limited. I'm talking about the other young speedy receivers the Colts have on the roster. Donte Moncrief, Duron Carter, rookie Phillip Dorsett and Quan Bray will get the majority of the snaps against the Eagles. The four receivers have made significant impressions so far in training camp. "I'm like every other fan right now, I can't wait to see them in live action," Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. "My message to them is going to be, 'Don't worry about mistakes. You're going to make mistakes. Just make sure you're doing it 1,000 miles an hour. ...You want an honest evaluation of where you're at. There's no reason to hold back in this situation."

Did you know: Colts general manager Ryan Grigson was with the Eagles from 2004-11 prior to arriving in Indianapolis. He finished his time with the Eagles as their director of player personnel. ... Don't spend too much time wondering if Trent Cole can supply any quarterback pressure starting at rush linebacker for the Colts. He recorded 85.5 sacks during his 10 seasons with Philadelphia. That sack total is second to only Pro Football Hall of Famer Reggie White in Eagles' team history.
