LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Bears are not required to release an injury report until Wednesday, but wide receivers Eddie Royal (hip) and Marquess Wilson (hamstring) and quarterback Jimmy Clausen (concussion) participated in the open portion of Monday’s practice.
"I’m excited about today," Royal said. "It was a good start. I’m excited about Sunday and hopefully being out there.”
However, receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) was not present at practice during the 20 minutes open to the media.
Jeffery was later spotted during open room but team officials prevented reporters from speaking to him.
The Bears hope to know more about Jeffery’s status for Green Bay later in the week.
Left tackle Jermon Bushrod (back) was also sidelined on Monday.
Coach John Fox did not want to speculate about the extent of Bushrod’s back injury.
“I can’t predict that,” Fox said. “I can’t predict who will get injured. I can’t predict how exactly we’re going to play. It’s no different than Jermon.”
The Bears have Tuesday off before they return to Halas Hall on Wednesday.
