The Chicago Bears waived 2013 fourth-round pick linebacker Khaseem Greene, terminated the contract of vested veteran linebacker Austen Lane and signed quarterback Pat Devlin, nose tackle Terry Williams and linebacker Kyle Woestmann, the club announced on Monday.

The Bears also claimed tight end Chris Pantale off waivers from the New York Jets, per Fox Sports.

Devlin, Williams and Woestmann all participated in last week’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Devlin, who spent time in Miami (2011-13) and Minnesota (2014), signed a one-year deal. The quarterback was on the Dolphins’ active 53-man roster for all of 2012 and 2013 but was inactive each week. He spent the final eight weeks of last year on the Vikings’ practice squad.

Williams (East Carolina) and Woestmann (Vanderbilt) are both undrafted rookie free agents and each received three-year contracts.

Despite appearing in 25 games with six starts, Greene struggled to settle into a comfortable role in two seasons in Chicago. He finishes his Bears’ career with 60.5 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble. Greene also had seven special teams tackles, but had a difficult time making much of an impact on the third phase.

Lane signed with the Bears on Dec. 23, 2014 but did not play in the Week 17 regular season finale versus the Minnesota Vikings.

The Jets released Pantale when the team announced its 2015 undrafted rookie free agent class. He is the eighth tight end on the Bears offseason roster, which now stands at the maximum 90 players.
