Ravens' Kenneth Dixon is considered day-to-day after straining MCL

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Kenneth Dixon is considered day-to-day after straining the medial collateral ligament in his left knee on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In the Ravens' first full-team practice of training camp, Dixon was pushed to the ground by linebacker Patrick Onwuasor as he was headed out of bounds. He was helped off the field by teammate Justin Forsett.

"He's going to be OK," coach John Harbaugh said after practice. "He has a slight thing with the knee."

Harbaugh said Dixon could be back as early as Friday. The Ravens are getting a little thin at running back because Lorenzo Taliaferro (foot) and Trent Richardson (knee) are on the physically unable to perform list.

Without Dixon, Baltimore is down to three running backs: Forsett, Buck Allen and Terrance West.
