Setting the schedule for Day 10 of Atlanta Falcons training camp

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons will hold their 10th training camp practice Tuesday morning at their home facility. Practice is open to the public.

This is what Falcons coach Dan Quinn had to say following Day 9 of practice: "We worked four-minute offense against four-minute defense. That was kind of the final part of the situational; put everybody in there and it was good. ... I thought that was a good job by the defense today, and that four minute, getting the turnover, giving them an opportunity to go back."

Here is the Falcons' schedule for Tuesday:

10 a.m.-noon: Practice

12:30-1 p.m: Quinn news conference

Weather: High 88, Low 70 (50 percent chance of rain)

Players on active/physically unable to perform list: OT Lamar Holmes (broken right foot)

Notable news: The team is progressing toward a contract extension for wide receiver Julio Jones, who wants to be a Falcon for life and is on the same page with owner Arthur Blank; Running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman remain out with hamstring strains, and wide receiver/kicker Devin Hester (toe/ankle), outside linebacker Brooks Reed (hip/groin), and defensive lineman Cliff Matthews (ankle) all missed Monday's practice as well.

Day 8 standouts: OLB Vic Beasley, OG Chris Chester, WR Carlton Mitchell

Next practice: Wednesday, 10 a.m.-noon
