The Los Angeles Dodgers opened the 2024 season as favorites to win the World Series and, after defeating the New York Yankees in five games, they indeed celebrated a championship.
According to ESPN BET, the Dodgers remain the favorite to win the World Series again in 2025. After opening as +400 favorites to repeat, they currently sit at +375 as we move into the final three weeks of the regular season.
Strong second-half play has brought the Yankees (+850) back ahead of the Detroit Tigers (+900) as AL favorites ahead of a three-game series between the teams. The Toronto Blue Jays sit at 10-1. In the NL, the Milwaukee Brewers have fallen to third in the NL to win the World Series at +700, just behind the Philadelphia Phillies (+600). The Phillies won a series in Milwaukee last week.
