The Oklahoma City Thunder remain the heavy favorites to repeat as NBA champion thanks in part to a scorching start to the 2025-26 season. Entering play on Wednesday, the Thunder's only loss in their first 18 games was a two-point defeat to Portland. OKC is +175 to take home the title this season.
Behind the Thunder is Nikola Jokic's Denver Nuggets at 6-1. The Nuggets have moved out to a 13-4 record, but will be without the services of a key player for the next four to six weeks, as Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is sidelined.
The Cleveland Cavaliers (+850) represent the team with the best odds in the Eastern Conference, followed by the New York Knicks (13-1) and Orlando Magic (22-1). The red-hot Detroit Pistons, winners of 13 straight, are at 25-1.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic are co-favorites for MVP at +160, with Luka Doncic right behind at +325.
