Hawthorn vs. Collingwood
Team news: The Hawks were forced into one change after star midfielder Will Day was ruled out for the remainder of the season. Harry Morrison will also miss, with veteran Luke Breust, and Changkuoth Jiath coming into the side. Meanwhile, the Pies welcome back key defenders Jeremy Howe and Billy Frampton, and midfielder Tom Mitchell, the trio replacing omitted pair Charlie Dean and Oleg Markov, and Bobby Hill (illness).

FRIDAY, AUGUST 8
Geelong vs. Essendon
Team news: Geelong has managed Patrick Dangerfield for Friday night's clash, with Mitch Knevitt taking his place. The Bombers have made one change as Jye Menzie comes into the side for Oskar Smartt.

Richmond vs. St Kilda
Team news: Tigers youngster Jonty Faull was subbed out with a knee injury against the Suns, but in positive news, it looks like he has escaped the dreaded ACL. He'll come out of the side, as does Luke Trainor and Thomas Sims, with the trio replaced by the experienced Tim Taranto, Tom Lynch, and Nathan Broad. Meanwhile, Mattaes Phillipou, Liam Henry, and Darcy Wilson have all been recalled for the Saints, with Mitch Owens and Ryan Byrnes injured, and Angus Hastie omitted.
