Team news: The Hawks will be forced into at least one change with star midfielder Will Day ruled out for the remainder of the season, while the Pies will be hoping for defensive reinforcements with Jeremy Howe edging closer to a return, and Billy Frampton earning more match fitness through the VFL last weekend.

Team news: Tigers youngster Jonty Faull was subbed out with a knee injury against the Suns, but in positive news, it looks like he has escaped the dreaded ACL. Meanwhile, St Kilda's Mitch Owens suffered a hamstring injury and could be set for a stint on the sidelines, but Darcy Wilson (37 disposals and one goal) and Mattaes Phillipou (23 and one) stood out for Sandringham and have put their hands up for selection.

Brisbane vs. Sydney
Team news: Brisbane will be without defender Ryan Lester who has entered concussion protocols after a head knock against the Pies. Team news: In shattering news, young Carlton defender Harry O'Farrell has a suspected ACL injury after landing awkwardly in a contest against the Dockers, but the club will be hoping Mitch McGovern returns from a hamstring injury. Touk Miller was subbed out for the Suns but it was out of precaution with the star onballer playing his first game back from a hamstring injury. Veteran David Swallow had 36 disposals in the VFL, Leo Lombard had 31, and Jed Walter booted two goals from 10 touches and six marks.

Team news: Fremantle's Hayden Young was subbed out of the win against Carlton with a groin concern, with the extent of the injury to be confirmed this week. For the Power, Connor Rozee was a late out due to illness so didn't suit up against the Cats, but is expected to play this week.
