In the mix, and those on notice

Melbourne skipper Max Gawn continues to put a gap between himself and North Melbourne ruck Tristan Xerri, after yet another monster game against the Power. Those in the team that aren't as safe include Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos, who has been relatively underwhelming in recent weeks. He'd want a statement performance against the Saints in Round 15. The same can be said for Suns spearhead Ben King, who was jumped in the Coleman Medal standings by last year's winner, Jesse Hogan. Others that are right on the fringe of selection include two-time Brownlow Medal winner Lachie Neale, Port skipper Connor Rozee, Melbourne dynamo Kysaiah Pickett, and young Bomber Nic Martin.
