Denver Outlaws secure first win of the season against waterdogs

The Denver Outlaws earned their first victory of the Premier Lacrosse League season with a hard-fought 9-7 win over the Philadelphia Waterdogs on Saturday night at Villanova Stadium.

Logan McNaney was instrumental in securing the win, recording 14 saves while allowing just one goal in the final two quarters.

Pat Kavanagh led Denver with four points (three goals and one assist) while Jake Piseno had three points (one goal and two assists).

For Philadelphia, Jake Taylor finished with three goals and Michael Sowers recorded two assists. Matt DeLuca made 14 saves.

Denver led 7-6 at halftime.

Up next: The Outlaws face the Utah Archers on June 22 at 1 p.m. ET, with coverage available on ABC and ESPN+. The Waterdogs take on the New York Atlas on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+.
