There is no clear-cut dominant team this basketball season. Several teams have slid in and out of the No. 1 spot, and Duke and Kentucky -- two teams that were believed to be dominant entering the season -- have looked fairly ordinary at times.
Which team do college coaches not want to face come March? We posed that question to 50 coaches (a mix of assistant and head coaches), and you may be shocked by the team that received the most votes.
West Virginia Mountaineers (14 votes)
"They cause havoc like no one else. I hate their pressure. It's just so unconventional."
"Their style of play is so different. It's so tough to prepare for, and you can't simulate it."
"We haven't seen a team that presses on misses."
"They are the one team I don't want to see in March, especially on a quick turnaround. Those guys just get after it like no one else."
"They just don't let you run any offense."
Villanova Wildcats (9 votes)
"They have championship spirit, and they refuse to beat themselves. Each guy is totally committed to the team and plays a full 30 seconds of offense or defense on each possession."
"They don't beat themselves and always find a way to win!"
"Those dudes have already gotten it done. They believe, and they are arguably the toughest team in the country."
"They don't look the part, but what makes them tough to beat is they switch everything defensively. And they just know how to win."
Duke Blue Devils (6 votes)
"They have like 20 lottery picks. OK, they don't have that many, but they have more talent than anyone else."
"They have a lot of great guards and the most talented players. If they are hot, they are the best team in the country."
"They don't have a point guard, but they have everything else. No one in the country has better wings than them, and they also have a Hall of Fame coach -- who gets his share of calls."
Oregon Ducks (4 votes)
"They can score in a lot of ways: 3-point shooting, post, physical drivers, shot blocking, and they have tough kids."
"They are great on both offense and defense."
Kansas Jayhawks (4 votes)
"They have experienced guards in (Frank) Mason and (Devonte') Graham and a lottery pick in Josh Jackson. I know they have issues up front, but guards win in the tourney -- and no one has better ones than them."
"Frank Mason and Devonte' Graham ... I don't want to see those guys."
Virginia Cavaliers (4 votes)
"I just think they are playing their defense right now and have been scoring better."
"Their style is just so difficult to deal with."
"They want to play slow, and it's hard to speed them up and control tempo."
Gonzaga Bulldogs (3 votes)
"They are so big and physical. That would scare me."
"I think they are actually the most complete team. Big guards, wings who can score, plenty of big men -- and depth. Find me a weakness."
UCLA Bruins (2 votes)
"I know they aren't great defensively, but I don't want to see Lonzo Ball in March. That guy is the real deal. He's great."
Florida Gators (1 vote)
"They are big, athletic, they defend, and they are shooting it better. They are also deep and hungry."
Louisville Cardinals (1 vote)
They are tough, especially in a short turnaround. They have that switching matchup press, which is tough for teams to attack. They also have length and size."

Florida State Seminoles (1 vote)
"They have the ability to play more than one way (fast or a grind), have good guard play, three guys -- Xavier Rathan-Mayes, Dwayne Bacon and Jonathan Isaac -- that can rise up and just win a game in the tournament. They also have depth."

Wisconsin Badgers (1 vote)
"Their guys trust and believe in the system. They have vets that have played on the big stage."
