Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 16

play
Is Jerome Ford a safe fantasy option in Week 16? (1:06)

Field Yates and Daniel Dopp break down Jerome Ford's fantasy prospects with Nick Chubb injured. (1:06)

Welcome to Week 16 of the 2024 NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings. We know many of you compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it.

If your league is of the standard flex variety, scroll down toward the bottom for rankings without QBs. Regardless, good luck in the fantasy playoffs!

To see these rankings without quarterbacks, click here.

1. Josh Allen, Bills (QB1): More than 92 PPR points in two weeks is quite historic. No defense can contain Allen.

2. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB2): You can't make a case to sit him, but he scored only 14.88 points in first Steelers game.

3. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB3): It looks like he will finish with more passing TDs (18) than rushing (14). You know you care.

4. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (WR1): He scored only 18.4 fantasy points in Week 15, his lowest total since Week 9. Um, do not worry.

5. Puka Nacua, Rams (WR2): We used to rank the Rams WRs similarly, but Nacua is in a different class now.

6. Josh Jacobs, Packers (RB1): So much volume, so many touchdowns. Expect more on Monday versus the Saints.

7. Bijan Robinson, Falcons (RB2): He's had a fantastic second season, and has a fantastic schedule the rest of the way.

8. Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions (RB3): The loss of David Montgomery won't hurt his volume, but the Lions should be smart, too.

9. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB4)

10. Jayden Daniels, Commanders (QB5)

11. Saquon Barkley, Eagles (RB4): The Steelers kept Barkley in check, and the Eagles may reduce his December volume prior to the playoffs.

12. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR3): We love it when the touchdowns arrive! Oddly, he has only two games with double-digit targets.

13. James Conner, Cardinals (RB5): He is playing his best football, and the Panthers permit the most PPR points to RBs.

14. De'Von Achane, Dolphins (RB6): Don't be tempted to sit him versus the 49ers, who permit plenty of points to RBs, too.

15. Kyler Murray, Cardinals (QB6)

16. Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers (QB7)

17. Chase Brown, Bengals (RB7): He has been playing like a RB1 for a while now. After Week 16, he has to face the Broncos and Steelers.

18. Joe Mixon, Texans (RB8): Fewer than 25 rushing yards in two of three games, and the Chiefs are tough against the run.

19. Derrick Henry, Ravens (RB9): Quiet performance versus the Giants, and he rushed for only 65 yards in the first Steelers game.

20. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (WR4)

21. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR5)

22. Davante Adams, Jets (WR6): All 42.8 PPR points from Sunday came in the second half. This week against the Rams will be tougher.

23. Sam Darnold, Vikings (QB8): The No. 8 fantasy QB for the season continues to prove reliable.

24. Brock Purdy, 49ers (QB9): He has not been consistent lately, as the 49ers season slips away. The Dolphins are tough versus QBs.

25. Malik Nabers, Giants (WR7): He could reach both 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards this week. Why ever sit him?

26. Nico Collins, Texans (WR8): The numbers in his past four games have not matched what happened pre-injury. Still good, though.

27. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (WR9)

28. James Cook, Bills (RB10)

29. Kyren Williams, Rams (RB11)

30. Aaron Jones, Vikings (RB12): He has touchdowns in four consecutive games. This offense is cruising along.

31. Jared Goff, Lions (QB10): Well, at least he is healthy, and so are his WRs. Playing outside in Chicago may not be fun, though.

32. Drake Maye, Patriots (QB11): At least 17 fantasy points in three of four games. Has your starting QB been doing this?

33. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB12): Just when we expected a fifth consecutive 20-point effort, he scores 3.84. Be wary this week.

34. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB13)

35. Aaron Rodgers, Jets (QB14)

36. Matthew Stafford, Rams (QB15)

37. Caleb Williams, Bears (QB16): It can be painful watching him, needing points, but the Lions are giving up so many points lately.

38. Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars (WR10): Perhaps you missed it, but only six WRs have more PPR points this season! Play Thomas.

39. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR11): He and his QB are pals again. What a ridiculous storyline. Talent wins out!

40. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR12)

41. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR13)

42. Trey McBride, Cardinals (TE1): Still with nary a receiving TD, but the Panthers are awful versus tight ends. It's all happening!

43. Brock Bowers, Raiders (TE2): You can't sit him, even though he has been statistically quiet in three of four games.

44. Anthony Richardson, Colts (QB17): The upside is there, but if he isn't scoring a rushing TD, there's so much downside as well.

45. Jordan Love, Packers (QB18)

46. Russell Wilson, Steelers (QB19)

47. DJ Moore, Bears (WR14)

48. Jakobi Meyers, Raiders (WR15): Love the targets, but still only two touchdowns the entire season.

49. Drake London, Falcons (WR16): Tough to sit him with his talent, but the QB play does make us think about it.

50. Jerry Jeudy, Browns (WR17): QB change will certainly affect his numbers, as he has been a WR1 for six weeks.

51. Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (RB13): Volume hasn't been great lately, except for one game. The Cardinals can be run on.

52. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB14)

53. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (RB15)

54. Bucky Irving, Buccaneers (RB16)

55. Breece Hall, Jets (RB17): A late TD in Week 15 saved his fantasy day. He's not someone you have to play this week.

56. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR18): He wasn't much of a value pick, but still should finish among the top 20 WR scorers.

57. Jauan Jennings, 49ers (WR19): I've got a feeling Purdy and Jennings will bounce back in Miami this week.

58. Cooper Kupp, Rams (WR20): I've got a feeling Kupp will be OK, too, but we can't treat him as a WR1 anymore.

59. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR21)

60. George Kittle, 49ers (TE3)

61. C.J. Stroud, Texans (QB20): He averaged 18.4 fantasy points last season. This season, he is at 13.7 points. You don't have to play him.

62. Michael Penix Jr., Falcons (QB21): It's so risky to trust him in his first game, for the Falcons and fantasy managers. There is upside, though.

63. Zay Flowers, Ravens (WR22): Five consecutive games not reaching 12 fantasy points. The Eagles threw on the Steelers, so the Ravens can, too.

64. Keenan Allen, Bears (WR23): It is the right time to play him, with 20 fantasy points in three of four games. Timing is everything.

65. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seahawks (WR24)

66. Jordan Addison, Vikings (WR25)

67. Khalil Shakir, Bills (WR26)

68. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR27)
