Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 13

Welcome to Week 13 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in Week 13 and beyond!

Week 13 byes: Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers

These rankings have been updated for news and to remove players from Thursday's Bills-Patriots game.

1. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB1): The last time he didn't throw for 300 yards in a game was Week 5. He's always going to get his numbers.

2. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB2): Producing MVP numbers for the league's top team. Titans defend well, but Hurts cannot be stopped.

3. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB3): Chiefs can be thrown on, and Burrow is playing at a high level.

4. Justin Fields, Bears (QB4):

5. Austin Ekeler, Chargers (RB1)

6. Josh Jacobs, Raiders (RB2): Safe to say few predicted this fellow would be among top 10 PPR scorers this season. It may happen.

7. Davante Adams, Raiders (WR1)

8. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR2): Kind of quiet statistically (for him) the past two games, and 49ers are playing elite defense lately. Good test here.

9. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR3)

10. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (TE1): In case you were wondering (I was), he would rank third among WRs in season PPR scoring.

11. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB5)

12. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (QB6): Comeback win over Ravens continues his rise to QB1 option. Lions are inconsistent defensively.

13. Deshaun Watson, Browns (QB7): His first NFL game in 23 months, and it comes versus Texans. Watson should play well.

14. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB8): Only six QBs have more fantasy points. Stop questioning if you can trust him. You can!

15. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB9)

16. Nick Chubb, Browns (RB3)

17. Derrick Henry, Titans (RB4): Fewer than 100 rushing yards in three straight, but Eagles can be run on. Did you notice he has a career high in catches?

18. Saquon Barkley, Giants (RB5): Did you notice he hasn't exceeded 25 receiving yards since Week 5? Yikes!

19. Dak Prescott, Cowboys (QB10): Multiple interceptions in two of three games, and little rushing work. May be more of a QB2 this season.

20. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB11)

21. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (QB12): Have to assume he wants to play, regardless of injury or circumstances. It's a good matchup with Bears, too.

22. Derek Carr, Raiders (QB13)

23. Joe Mixon, Bengals (RB6): Still not cleared from concussion protocol as of Sunday morning, so stay tuned for updates and make alternative plans, especially since it's a late kickoff.

24. Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (RB7): Knee injury dampens enthusiasm a bit, but he's still playing at high level.

25. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (RB8): Makes no sense that Colts didn't give him more touches on Monday, but it's a dysfunctional offense.

26. Marcus Mariota, Falcons (QB14)

27. Kirk Cousins, Vikings (QB15)

28. Tom Brady, Buccaneers (QB16): Scored season-low 9.4 points in first Saints meeting. It's OK to rely on a different QB this week.

29. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (QB17): Hasn't thrown for 250 yards since Week 7, but Dolphins allow many passing yards.

30. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR4)

31. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR5)

32. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (WR6): Eight or more targets in five consecutive games. All is well here for home game with Jaguars.

33. Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars (RB9): Left Week 12 with concerning foot injury, but team claims he's fine and there's nothing to be concerned about.

34. Aaron Jones, Packers (RB10)

35. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB11): Rookie has mere 43 rushing yards the past two games, but matchup with teetering Rams is a good one.

36. Dalvin Cook, Vikings (RB12)

37. Alvin Kamara, Saints (RB13): Four consecutive disappointing fantasy games in a row and no lock to play this week.

38. Keenan Allen, Chargers (WR7): Five receptions in each game since returning, but perhaps this week is shootout with Raiders.

39. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (WR8): Should return from hip injury this week, but Chiefs will likely pay him much attention, too.

40. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR9)

41. Christian Kirk, Jaguars (WR10)

42. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR11): Has lost fumbles in consecutive games, but now he faces former team. Motivation is a thing in this case.

43. Kenny Pickett, Steelers (QB18): Has surpassed 200 passing yards in only one of past four contests. Still some growing pains.

44. Jared Goff, Lions (QB19)

45. Daniel Jones, Giants (QB20)

46. Mike White, Jets (QB21): Well, we ranked him short of QB1 status for now, even though Jets fans think he's amazing. Perhaps soon (LOL). Be cautious.

47. David Montgomery, Bears (RB14)

48. Dameon Pierce, Texans (RB15): Dreadful numbers the past two games. Perhaps blame the terrible offense, but bottom line is you don't have to rely on him.

49. Amari Cooper, Browns (WR12): Jacoby Brissett wasn't so bad. Now things should get better for Cooper.

50. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (WR13)

51. Deebo Samuel, 49ers (WR14)

52. Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (WR15): Solid season, but now the touchdowns are coming. Tough matchup here, though.

53. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (WR16): Hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 4. That's not what we all expected.

54. Russell Wilson, Broncos (QB22): Even the worst QBs generally supply double-digit points each week. Most of the time.

55. Taylor Heinicke, Commanders (QB23)

56. Kyle Allen, Texans (QB24): Played better in the second half Sunday, but team was trailing. They may be trailing this week, too.

57. Andy Dalton, Saints (QB25)

58. Mark Andrews, Ravens (TE2)

59. Chris Olave, Saints (WR17): Had 13 targets and 80 receiving yards in first Bucs matchup. Even if offense struggles, he should get numbers.

60. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR18)

61. Christian Watson, Packers (WR19): Six touchdowns on 12 receptions is not at all sustainable, but he does look like reliable option now.

62. John Wolford, Rams (QB26): More runner than thrower, and makes little sense for Rams to force Matthew Stafford to play.

63. Ryan Tannehill, Titans (QB27): Playing better the past few weeks and Eagles sure got thrown on by Packers.

64. Matt Ryan, Colts (QB28)

65. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (WR20)

66. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR21): He has a quarterback! Well, maybe. Still, exciting times for Jets rookie.

67. Pat Freiermuth, Steelers (TE3)

68. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR22)

69. Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (WR23)

70. Tony Pollard, Cowboys (RB16)

71. Jamaal Williams, Lions (RB17): Who's going to bet against him scoring 20 touchdowns this season? Not me!

72. Miles Sanders, Eagles (RB18)

73. Najee Harris, Steelers (RB19): Left Monday's game early with abdominal injury, leaving status in question.

74. Antonio Gibson, Commanders (RB20): Went from 18 rushing attempts to nine, sans much notice. It's anyone's guess on Week 13 touches.

75. Latavius Murray, Broncos (RB21)

76. Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys (RB22)

77. Cordarrelle Patterson, Falcons (RB23): So touchdown-dependent for fantasy, and that's so dangerous.

78. Jeff Wilson Jr., Dolphins (RB24): Returns to San Francisco for revenge game, albeit versus tough defense.

79. Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (WR24)

80. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR25)

81. Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers (RB25): Have to assume if he's active that Bucs will feed him touches. Or not.

82. Rachaad White, Buccaneers (RB26)

83. Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders (RB27): Comes off first 100-yard rushing game, with Commanders likely to give him more chances.

84. Gus Edwards, Ravens (RB28): Back from injury and saw 16 rushing attempts. Not a pass-catcher, though.

85. T.J. Hockenson, Vikings (TE4)

86. George Kittle, 49ers (TE5): Still inconsistent on targets, though if you've got him, you're activating him.

87. Dalton Schultz, Cowboys (TE6)

88. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs (WR26)

89. Zay Jones, Jaguars (WR27): Season-best numbers versus Ravens, but inconsistent targets and not a TD maker. Be careful.

90. Adam Thielen, Vikings (WR28)

91. George Pickens, Steelers (WR29)

92. Diontae Johnson, Steelers (WR30): Every wide receiver among the top 50 in PPR scoring has a TD catch, except him. Maybe this week!

93. D'Andre Swift, Lions (RB29): Still active in far too many fantasy leagues. Can't rely on someone with so few touches.

94. Kyren Williams, Rams (RB30): Someone has to run the football, and it looks like he's the one for now.

95. Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs (RB31): Running well, but long-term outlook fuzzy after team signed Melvin Gordon III. Gordon won't play this week, though.

96. AJ Dillon, Packers (RB32)

97. Raheem Mostert, Dolphins (RB33): Knee injury could keep him out of revenge match with 49ers. Regardless, hard to rely on him.

98. Mack Hollins, Raiders (WR31)

99. Van Jefferson, Rams (WR32): Someone has to catch the ball for this team, too, though if Perkins starts, it's risky to rely on a Ram.

100. Parris Campbell, Colts (WR33)

101. Allen Lazard, Packers (WR34): Not surprisingly, his value has fallen way off with Watson catching all the touchdowns.

102. Joshua Palmer, Chargers (WR35)

103. DeAndre Carter, Chargers (WR36):

104. Nico Collins, Texans (WR37)

105. Donovan Peoples-Jones, Browns (WR38)

106. Randall Cobb, Packers (WR39)

107. Treylon Burks, Titans (WR40)

108. Cole Kmet, Bears (TE7)

109. Foster Moreau, Raiders (TE8)

110. Hayden Hurst, Bengals (TE9)

111. Gerald Everett, Chargers (TE10)

112. Zonovan Knight, Jets (RB34)

113. Ty Johnson, Jets (RB35)

114. Kareem Hunt, Browns (RB36)

115. Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (RB37)

116. Jerick McKinnon, Chiefs (RB38)

117. Corey Davis, Jets (WR41)

118. Robert Woods, Titans (WR42)

119. Darius Slayton, Giants (WR43)

120. Michael Gallup, Cowboys (WR44)

121. Curtis Samuel, Commanders (WR45)

122. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chiefs (WR46)

123. Jarvis Landry, Saints (WR47)

124. Drake London, Falcons (WR48)

125. DJ Chark, Lions (WR49)

126. Tyler Boyd, Bengals (WR50)

127. Marvin Jones Jr., Jaguars (WR51)

128. Quez Watkins, Eagles (WR52)

129. Chase Claypool, Bears (WR53)

130. Kalif Raymond, Lions (WR54)

131. Demarcus Robinson, Ravens (WR55)

132. Ben Skowronek, Rams (WR56)

133. Kadarius Toney, Chiefs (WR57)

134. Elijah Moore, Jets (WR58)

135. Tyler Higbee, Rams (TE11)

136. Tyler Conklin, Jets (TE12)

137. Greg Dulcich, Broncos (TE13)

138. Mike Boone, Broncos (RB39)

139. Cam Akers, Rams (RB40)

140. James Robinson, Jets (RB41)

141. Jaylen Warren, Steelers (RB42)

142. JaMycal Hasty, Jaguars (RB43)

143. Samaje Perine, Bengals (RB44): Would obviously jump quite a bit if Mixon is not able to go today. Keep an eye out for updates.

144. Deon Jackson, Colts (RB45)

145. Devin Duvernay, Ravens (WR59)

146. Julio Jones, Buccaneers (WR60)
