Welcome to Week 4 and the latest edition of the flex rankings, as we combine the best of the running backs, wide receivers and tight ends into one tidy package to aid those in PPR formats. Or not. Use these as a guide if you like but remember, they are your teams so they should be your decisions.
In addition, as the week goes on there will be news, so keep an eye on it for potential inactive players or situation changes. Good luck in Week 4!
1. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers: Quarterback change clearly not a concern for this dominant player.
2. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys: Few receiving targets coming his way, but no indication of a philosophical change, either.
3. Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints: Destroyed the Seahawks and hit the end zone twice. No worries.
4. Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings: The current leader among running backs in PPR scoring.
5. Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers: Yeah, they get the Dolphins this week!
6. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers: Here is the overall PPR scoring leader, on pace for ridiculous numbers.
7. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans: Does not seem to matter which cornerbacks get assigned to him.
8. Julio Jones, WR, Falcons
9. Davante Adams, WR, Packers: Slow start, but this week he faces a team with no pass rush and a sputtering secondary. Could be a monster performance.
10. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns: The passing game is struggling, but Chubb is getting his numbers.
11. James Conner, RB, Steelers: Tough to be impressed, but this is not about the QB change. Conner is talented. Patience.
12. David Johnson, RB, Cardinals
13. Michael Thomas, WR, Saints
14. Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers: Hard to believe anyone was concerned entering Week 3. Three touchdowns later, all is well again.
15. Marlon Mack, RB, Colts: Even sans receptions, tough to complain about his usage.
16. Mark Ingram II, RB, Ravens: The threat of Lamar Jackson doing anything is clearly aiding Ingram.
17. Kerryon Johnson, RB, Lions
18. Amari Cooper, WR, Cowboys: Dak Prescott is a legit MVP threat in part because this fellow is playing consistently.
19. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Browns
20. Cooper Kupp, WR, Rams: Feel like this is a trap to assume Kupp is by far the most valuable Rams receiver. I bet it evens up soon, but against Tampa, play 'em all.
21. Chris Carson, RB, Seahawks: A running back cannot put the football on the ground and keep starting. Something to watch here if it continues.
22. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers: Shoulder injury could hinder him on Thursday, but he figures to suit up.
23. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs
24. Tyler Lockett, WR, Seahawks
25. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers: First start for Mason Rudolph did not impress, but he found this fellow for a touchdown.
26. Julian Edelman, WR, Patriots
27. Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars: Is running well and catching more passes than expected, and some touchdowns should result soon.
28. Todd Gurley II, RB, Rams: Well, he is not serving much purpose in the passing game anymore. Perhaps it changes.
29. Phillip Lindsay, RB, Broncos
30. Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals
31. Kenny Golladay, WR, Lions
32. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings: There appears to be room for only one Vikings wide receiver to thrive, and he is the one.
33. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts: Quad issue has him questionable, so make sure he plays before you play him.
34. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans
35. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals: It is coming. Good time to invest before he breaks out.
36. Devonta Freeman, RB, Falcons: Looked better running the ball in Week 3, and nobody is threatening his touches.
37. Sammy Watkins, WR, Chiefs: Inconsistent and brittle, but in this offense, his investors still need to play him weekly. Or do they?
38. Brandin Cooks, WR, Rams: He looked great in Week 3, so those worried about him should stop. Jared Goff still throws downfield.
39. Robert Woods, WR, Rams
40. James White, RB, Patriots: He -- and the newborn baby -- is healthy. The catches are coming. Keep him rostered.
41. Damien Williams, RB, Chiefs: Injury held him out of Week 3, and if he plays, he clearly has to share touches.
42. Terry McLaurin, WR, Redskins: In a strong rookie receiver class getting opportunity, he looks like the best one.
43. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals: He was a rookie in 1984. OK, 2004. Last time he averaged this many yards per reception, in a full season, was 2011. He's back!
44. Christian Kirk, WR, Cardinals
45. Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers
46. Evan Engram, TE, Giants: People are assuming Daniel Jones goes statistically nuts every week, which is foolish, but Engram boasts top value now.
47. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles: One difference in Engram and Ertz is the latter is catching his passes close to the QB.
48. Darren Waller, TE, Raiders: Volume. Volume. Volume.
49. DJ Moore, WR, Panthers
50. Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders: Most rookie running backs are struggling. We hope Jacobs avoids capture in the dysfunctional morass surrounding him.
51. Chris Thompson, RB, Redskins: Running backs that catch passes are valuable. This offense has no choice.
52. Wayne Gallman, RB, Giants: First up with Saquon Barkley out for a while, but he has not shown much in the past.
53. Tarik Cohen, RB, Bears
54. LeSean McCoy, RB, Chiefs: One does not need to have the skills of yesteryear to thrive in this offense. McCoy is plenty good enough at this point.
55. David Montgomery, RB, Bears: We keep ranking the rookie well even as he sees a lack of touches. Not sure what they are waiting for.
56. Marvin Jones Jr., WR, Lions
57. Josh Gordon, WR, Patriots
58. Sony Michel, RB, Patriots: Big week for him because there are other options if he cannot get things going.
59. Carlos Hyde, RB, Texans
60. Duke Johnson Jr., RB, Texans: If the ball does not get thrown his way, not much he can do.
61. Marquise Brown, WR, Ravens: Caught only two passes against the Chiefs, but the nine targets tells us more.
62. John Ross III, WR, Bengals
63. Sterling Shepard, WR, Giants
64. Calvin Ridley, WR, Falcons
65. Adrian Peterson, RB, Redskins: Averaging 2.8 yards per carry and he does not catch passes. Perhaps last year's version shows up against the Giants.
66. Rex Burkhead, RB, Patriots: Needs to be rostered on more teams because opportunities are coming.
67. Kenyan Drake, RB, Dolphins: This offense has to move the football at some point, right? There is some talent here, right?
68. Tyrell Williams, WR, Raiders
69. Allen Robinson, WR, Bears
70. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Packers: Seems like the preferred second option over Geronimo Allison, and the Philly defense is ripe to be taken advantage of.
71. Mike Williams, WR, Chargers: Touchdown maker has been quiet, but ... it is Dolphins week!
72. Royce Freeman, RB, Broncos
73. Miles Sanders, RB, Eagles: He fumbled in college, so the Eagles should not be surprised. Sanders is good, but in danger of losing touches quickly if it continues.
74. Peyton Barber, RB, Buccaneers: Nobody ever wants to activate him, but he is generally a safe flex choice.
75. DJ Chark, WR, Jaguars
76. John Brown, WR, Bills
77. Alshon Jeffery, WR, Eagles: Clearly not 100 percent healthy, but word is he will play. He has to, as the promising season slips away.
78. Nelson Agholor, WR, Eagles: Well, at least he is healthy and generally productive, even as he drops the football on occasion.
79. Delanie Walker, TE, Titans
80. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens
81. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Broncos: This veteran might need the young quarterback to get a chance.
82. Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers: Averaging more than 10 touches per game, so he matters a bit.
83. Justin Jackson, RB, Chargers
84. Latavius Murray, RB, Saints
85. Phillip Dorsett, WR, Patriots: Not the week to force him into lineups, but he should definitely be rostered more.
86. Demarcus Robinson, WR, Chiefs: Probably a bit underrated here, because this offense can do whatever it desires.
87. Mecole Hardman, WR, Chiefs
88. Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers
89. Stefon Diggs, WR, Vikings: We are not digging his slow start, and there is no indication it will get better. This is not like Mike Evans.
90. Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers
91. DK Metcalf, WR, Seahawks
92. Giovani Bernard, RB, Bengals
93. Frank Gore, RB, Bills
94. Devin Singletary, RB, Bills
95. Ronald Jones, RB, Buccaneers
96. Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos
97. Jarvis Landry, WR, Browns
98. Dede Westbrook, WR, Jaguars
99. Austin Hooper, TE, Falcons
100. Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers
Others: Ito Smith, RB, Falcons; Rashaad Penny, RB, Seahawks; Randall Cobb, WR, Cowboys; Trey Quinn, WR, Redskins; Elijhaa Penny, RB, Giants; Ty Johnson, RB, Lions; Jordan Howard, RB, Eagles; Malcolm Brown, RB, Rams; Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts; Kalen Ballage, RB, Dolphins; Jalen Richard, RB, Raiders; Danny Amendola, WR, Lions; Chris Conley, WR, Jaguars; Mohamed Sanu, WR, Falcons; Preston Williams, WR, Dolphins; Dion Lewis, RB, Titans; Jaylen Samuels, RB, Steelers; Tony Pollard, RB, Cowboys; Will Fuller V, WR, Texans
