An experienced group of Overwatch League players will represent defending champion South Korea as it attempts to win the Overwatch World Cup for the fourth time.

South Korea's 12-man roster, announced Friday, includes Overwatch League Season 1 champion Choi "Bdosin" Seungtae of the London Spitfire. The only returner from the 2018 team is Philadelphia Fusion DPS Lee "Carpe" Jae-hyeok; Kim "Mano" Dong-gyu of the New York Excelsior comes back from the 2017 squad.

The remaining players are making their first appearance on a World Cup roster.

The New York Excelsior are represented by three players: Mano, Jeong "Nenne" Yeon-kwan and Jung "Anamo" Taesung.

The San Francisco Shock have two players on the team: Choi "ChoiHyoBin" Hyo-bin and Park "Architect" Min-ho, as do the Vancouver Titans with Choi "JJANU" Hyeon-woo and Kim "Haksal" Hyo-jong.

Rounding out the team are Jang "Decay" Gui-un of the Los Angeles Gladiators; Park "iDK" Ho-jin of the Hangzhou Spark and Park "KariV" Young-seo of the Los Angeles Valiant.
