The 2025 MLB playoffs have moved on to the divisional round -- four best-of-five showdowns -- beginning at the site of the higher seeds.
The Los Angeles Dodgers swept their way through the best-of three wild-card round, while the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees all won their series in three games.
The two division winners with the best records in each league (Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners) were able to rest their regulars and set up their rotations in anticipation of the division series.
The Phillies will face the Dodgers and the Brewers will take on the Cubs in the NLDS, while the Blue Jays face the Yankees and the Mariners meet the Tigers in the ALDS.
Game 1 of each series was played on Saturday. The AL teams continue on Sunday with Game 2, while the NL will wait until Monday to pick up their playoff action.
