Each Friday during college football season the experts at Recruiting Nation will weigh in on the probable destinations of a selection of the nation's top uncommitted prospects. This week's selections include two of the top uncommitted skill players in the country -- wideout Kyle Davis and running back Devwah Whaley -- and LB Daelin Hayes, a target of prominent schools in the Big Ten --- and others.

Kyle Davis, WR, 6-3, 218, Archer HS/Lawrenceville, GA, ESPN 300 No. 28
Prediction: Georgia
Confidence level: 60 percent
Toughest competition: Tennessee or Auburn
Others in the mix: South Carolina
The No. 1-ranked wide receiver in the country was once a South Carolina commit, but Tennessee, Auburn and Georgia have jumped to the top of his list. Davis was hoping to visit Auburn this weekend for the Tigers' game against Georgia, but because of the early start time, that visit is still up in the air. Georgia appeared to be Davis' leader, but with the Bulldogs' struggles on offense things have become very close with the other teams involved. While Tennessee is right near the top, we'll say Georgia has a slight lead, and we do mean slight, because of his familiarity with other Georgia commits and recruits, and proximity to the Georgia campus. -- Derek Tyson

Devwah Whaley, RB, 6-0, 195, Central/Beaumont, TX, ESPN 300 No. 49
Prediction: Texas A&M
Confidence level: 40 percent
Toughest competition: Georgia
Others in the mix: Texas and Arkansas
Whaley's recruitment has taken a couple of twists and turns during the season. Following a September 18 official visit to Athens, Georgia appeared to be the clear front-runner to land the nation's No. 3 running back. Since that time, Texas A&M has closed the gap considerably and is now slowly becoming the team to beat thanks to a pair of visits to College Station and the questions surrounding Mark Richt's future at Georgia. A visit to Arkansas will happen in November, but a December trip to Austin could be the biggest threat to the Aggies. The feather in the cap for Kevin Sumlin? Whaley has planned to play in the SEC for a couple of months after cooling on early leader Oklahoma. -- Gerry Hamilton

Daelin Hayes, LB, 6-4, 249, Skyline/Ann Arbor, MI, ESPN 300 No. 230
Prediction: Michigan State
Confidence level: 20 percent
Toughest competition: Notre Dame, Ohio State
Others in the mix: None
This one is too close to call right now, as Hayes is still taking visits. The top three schools are Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State, and while Hayes has already been to Notre Dame and Ohio State, he still has a visit to Michigan State November 14. That visit could push the Spartans to the top, but as mentioned above, it's still close. Notre Dame looked to be the favorite after Hayes decommitted from USC, but the Spartans and Buckeyes have both made a push as of late. He does plan to make a decision sometime in December, so there isn't much time left to ponder the right school. -- Tom VanHaaren
