Each Friday during college football season the experts at Recruiting Nation will weigh in on the probable destinations of a selection of the nation's top uncommitted prospects. This week's selections include a player with both Georgia and Alabama on his list (Demetris Robertson), as well as a former Clemson commit who continues to consider the Tigers (Rahshaun Smith).
2015 Hot Board Archive:
Week 4 Hot Board: Devin Asiasi, Devin Duvernay, Tyrie Cleveland
Week 3 Hot Board: Mack Wilson, Ben Davis, Terrell Hall, Rashard Lawrence, Stephen Sullivan
Week 2 Hot Board: Antwuan Jackson Jr., Mecole Hardman, Jordan Elliott

Rahshaun Smith, OLB, 6-3, 239, IMG Academy/Bradenton, FL, ESPN 300 No. 26
Prediction: Clemson
Confidence level: 30 percent
Toughest competition: Maryland
Others in the mix: Auburn, LSU, Oregon
Smith was a longtime Clemson commitment before opening up his recruitment, but the Tigers are still very much in the mix and are scheduled to receive his final official visit. Two other Tigers are in there as well, as Auburn and LSU will get official visits for big games this fall. Maryland is the home team, as Smith moved from Maryland to Florida for school. The Terrapins also have a significant advantage in Cory Robinson, Maryland's Director of Player Personnel, has been Smith's mentor and father figure for some time. Oregon is another program to watch here, as it was the "dream school" for Smith growing up. He had a very positive visit to see the Ducks this past weekend and it was on full display that Smith could go in and make a very early impact in Eugene. -- Erik McKinney

Demetris Robertson, WR, 6-0, 176, Savannah Christian/Savannah, GA, ESPN 300 No. 82
Prediction: Georgia
Confidence level: 60 percent
Toughest competition: Alabama
Others in the mix: Cal, Notre Dame, Stanford
Robertson was committed to Alabama for nearly a year, and the Crimson Tide are still in the mix. But there has been a huge swell of momentum from the hometown Georgia Bulldogs, while several out of state programs are in the mix as well. Robertson had a very productive official visit to Notre Dame in early September and, somewhat surprisingly, he'll be at Berkeley this weekend on an official visit to Cal rather than taking in the Alabama/Georgia game. Stanford could be the real wild card here, as Cardinal quarterback commit K.J. Costello has been recruiting Robertson as hard as any prospect in the 2016 class. -- Erik McKinney

Jacob Mathis, TE, 6-4, 223, Berkeley Prep/Tampa, FL, ESPN 300 No. 189
Prediction: Michigan
Confidence level: 40 percent
Toughest competition: Florida
Others in the mix: Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia
Mathis has a huge offer list and doesn't really divulge too much on his favorites. He has scheduled his first official visit of the season, which will be Oct. 10 to see Michigan. The Wolverines missed out on Naseir Upshur, who committed to Florida State, and would still like to land another tight end in this class to go along with Sean McKeon. Since he doesn't share too much of how he really feels, this one will be tough to call until Mathis announces the rest of his visits. Michigan might have the upper hand by landing the first official visit and given the fact that Northwestern is having a good season, it could be an exciting game to see in person. Given that Georgia is a likely landing spot for ESPN 300 tight end Isaac Nauta, the field might narrow itself if that is, in fact, where Nauta lands. He, similarly to Mathis, is also considering Michigan, though. Depending on where the other lands and who decides first, it could be a game of musical chairs at tight end. -- Tom VanHaaren
