The Tigers and Crimson Tide both iced away tighter-than-expected wins, with Alabama pulling away from Auburn, 29-13, and Clemson holding off a South Carolina rally, 37-32.

Stanford's Conrad Ukropina kicked a winning field goal on the last play of the game as the Cardinal eliminated Notre Dame from playoff consideration.
