Georgia Tech 22, No. 9 Florida State 16
The Yellow Jackets stung the Seminoles with a 78-yard return of a blocked field goal attempt on the final play of the game, completing a stunning upset. Lance Austin scooped up the ball at his own 22 after Georgia Tech blocked FSU kicker Roberto Aguayo's 56-yard field goal try that would have won the game for the Seminoles. The Yellow Jackets ended FSU's record-tying streak of 28 straight victories against ACC opponents, a run that dated back to 2012.
No. 6 Clemson 58, Miami 0
The Tigers flushed the Hurricanes down the drain, embarrassing Miami in the worst loss in the program's 90-year history.
No. 1 Ohio State 49, Rutgers 7
After some uncharacteristic struggles by the Ohio State offense, J.T. Barrett made his first start of the season at quarterback and helped the Buckeyes get back to warp speed. Barrett threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 101 yards and two scores.
USC 42, No. 3 Utah 24
USC spoiled Utah's storybook run, ending the Utes' eight-game winning streak and intercepting Utah quarterback Travis Wilson four times. USC, which lost its previous two home games to Stanford and Washington, kept Utah winless in Los Angeles since 1916.
