Spin: Uzun began her rookie season by starting in 18 consecutive games, during which she averaged 6.8 points, 4.4 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 29.6 minutes per game. However, the 26-year-old started just one more game in the remaining 22 games of the season, and she averaged only 2.4 points and 1.8 assists across 13.0 minutes per outing. Uzun began the season in the starting lineup mainly due to injuries to Jaelyn Brown (nose/illness) and Satou Sabally (shoulder), and was eventually overtaken by fellow rookie, Jacy Sheldon, in the starting five. Uzun's role clearly diminished as the season progressed, and her future with the club is unclear ahead of the 2025 season. The guard is a reserved player and will only be able to negotiate a contract with the Wings, but she could potentially find a new home if the club lets her walk in the offseason.
