Spin: The No. 5 overall pick of the 2023 WNBA Draft had a quiet rookie season after missing the entirety of the 2023 campaign due to a knee injury. The 26-year-old never played more than 20 minutes in a single game in 2024. Furthermore, she struggled to find significant playing time even when the team was without both Satou Sabally (shoulder) and Jaelyn Brown (nose/illness) in the beginning of the season. Instead, fellow rookies Sevgi Uzun and Jacy Sheldon stepped up in the rotation. Lopez Senechal's future with the team is uncertain ahead of the 2025 season, but next year will presumably be her last opportunity to impress the club before its team option in 2026.
