Following PV Sindhu's bronze and the hockey men's quarter-final win on Sunday, the Indian women's hockey team made it to their first ever OIympics semifinal, beating Australia 1-0 at Tokyo 2020 on Monday. In athletics, while Dutee Chand couldn't make the 200m final, India's national record holder in the women's discus throw, Kamalpreet Kaur finished sixth in the final.
