The Tennessee Titans signed former Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton on Monday.
Tennessee has been short-handed at quarterback since Jake Locker suffered a season-ending foot injury on Nov. 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced Locker against the Jaguars and started Thursday night's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Rusty Smith, who has appeared in three games in his NFL career, was listed as Fitzpatrick's backup Thursday.
Skelton, 25, spent his first three seasons with Arizona, throwing for 15 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in 20 games.
