          Week 3 of the 2019 NFL season got started with Minshew Mania running wild on the Titans, resulting in a 20-7 win for the Jaguars.

          But now we're on to Sunday and a full slate of 13 afternoon games. Get up to speed with Week 3 fantasy rankings and best bets. And be sure to stay updated with live scores and the full Week 3 schedule.

          Injuries:

          Vontaze Burfict, LB, Raiders. Burfict, a team captain and the "green dot" of the defense, missed significant time after injuring an elbow in the second quarter. The Raiders had already lost Marquel Lee to a left ankle injury, so with Lee and Burfict out, the Raiders were left with just three linebackers. Tahir Whitehead assumed the green dot helmet in Burfict's absence, and was joined by Nicholas Morrow and special teams standout Kyle Wilber. Burfict did return to the game in the second half and made a couple of plays, so it is not known how hindered he might be going forward. When approached by reporters in the locker room, Burfict pulled the ultimate veteran move and put his phone to his ear as he walked past the media and into the training room. "When you lose top-notch players on your team like that, it's going to sting," Whitehead said. "It's going to hurt." -- Paul Gutierrez

          Injuries:

          Derek Wolfe, DE, Broncos. Wolfe left Sunday's loss to the Packers in the first quarter with a right ankle injury. He was wearing a walking boot on the injured foot/ankle when he left Lambeau Field on Sunday, but said he did not suffer a fracture and would have an MRI in the morning. He will miss some time, it is just a matter of how much, so it means rookie Dre'Mont Jones, who was an inactive Sunday, will find himself in the lineup. -- Jeff Legwold

          Injuries:

          Julian Edelman, WR, Patriots. Edelman left the game late in the second quarter with a chest injury and didn't return. He is the Patriots' No. 1 option, and the player Tom Brady looks to first in got-to-have-it situations. The Patriots don't have a player who would step into that role if they are without Edelman, as it would bump Phillip Dorsett into the top of the depth chart along with Josh Gordon. -- Mike Reiss

          Injuries:

          T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts. Hilton didn't play in the second half against the Falcons after he aggravated his quad injury a couple of plays before catching a four-yard touchdown pass in the end zone in the final seconds of the first half. He immediately went to the locker room after the play. Hilton said the doctors told him it was best he didn't play in the second half so he wouldn't risk tearing his quad. The receiver, who had eight receptions for 65 yards and the touchdown, didn't seem overly concerned about the injury. -- Mike Wells

          Keanu Neal, S, Falcons. Neal, who tore his ACL last season, left Lucas Oil Stadium on crutches and with his left foot in a boot after suffering an Achilles tendon injury. Dan Quinn didn't immediately call it a season-ending tear, but the mood among the players told you it was a significant injury. "We lost another brother today, so we just have to keep pushing," defensive back Damontae Kazee said of Neal. "I told him, 'Man, we got your back. Keep your head up.'" Kemal Ishmael is the backup strong safety behind Neal. -- Vaughn McClure

          Lions 27, Eagles 24

          Injuries:

          Darius Slay, CB, Lions. Slay suffered an injured hamstring in the second half and did not return, but after the game was spotted in the Lions' locker room moving fairly well, with a slight limp. He declined an extensive interview with reporters, but did say, "I'm good," when asked how he was feeling. When asked if he'd be good to go next week against Kansas City, Slay said, "We'll see." If Slay can't play, don't be surprised if Mike Ford ends up getting the assignment against the Chiefs' highly-rated passing attack. -- Michael Rothstein

          Mike Daniels, DL, Lions. Daniels sustained a foot injury in the first half and almost immediately hobbled to the locker room. He was ruled out fairly quickly, and after the game, he was spotted with a boot on one of his feet, using crutches. There's no timetable for his return, but Daniels was on injured reserve at the end of last season with a foot injury, so it's going to be something to monitor. The Lions used a bunch of Kevin Strong and also Damon Harrison to replace Daniels, but for the future, the potential return of Da'Shawn Hand from an elbow injury could soften his loss if Daniels is out for any significant amount of time. -- Michael Rothstein

          Ronald Darby, CB, Eagles. Darby suffered a hamstring injury in the first half against the Lions and did not return. This is a troublesome development for Darby, who has been working his way back from a torn ACL. Young corners Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas were splitting reps prior to the injury. Both will have a starting role should Darby miss any games. -- Tim McManus

          Andre Dillard, LT, Eagles. Dillard suffered a knee injury against Detroit. He was in for Jason Peters, who exited with an illness before eventually returning. The fact that Peters was able to make a return to play eases some concern should Dillard have to miss any time. -- Tim McManus

          LeSean McCoy, RB, Chiefs. McCoy re-sprained the ankle that was problematic heading into the game and had him as questionable on the injury report. McCoy played well against the Ravens, scoring a pair of touchdowns. But the Chiefs showed they could survive without him. Darrel Williams led the Chiefs in rushing on Sunday with 62 yards, and was the receiver on a third-down screen pass late in the game that gave the Chiefs a fresh set of downs and allowed them to run out the clock. -- Adam Teicher

The Bills had no further information on his status after the game, but he was wearing a neck brace in the locker room. Rookie Cody Ford will fill in if Feliciano is unable to play in Week 4 against the Patriots; the second-round pick has spent most of his time at right tackle this season, but head coach Sean McDermott said, "Cody will be ready," if he's needed at right guard. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

          Injuries:

          Trai Turner, OG, Panthers. The Pro Bowl guard suffered an ankle injury in the second half. It doesn't appear severe, but it's definitely a concern because of how much Turner means to the offensive line. He'll have it checked out again on Monday and will determine his status for Houston from there. -- David Newton

          Andy Lee, P, Cardinals. Lee suffered a hip flexor injury early in the fourth quarter, either while chasing down Panthers returner Ray-Ray McCloud or tackling him. Lee wasn't sure when it happened exactly because he didn't feel any pain until he was standing on the sideline for a few minutes. There's no timetable on how long he might be out, but more information on Lee's injury is expected in the next few days. Kicker Zane Gonzalez punted in place of Lee during the game, but the Cardinals don't have a backup punter on the roster; if Lee is unable to play, they will likely sign a new punter. -- Josh Weinfuss

          Saquon Barkley, RB, Giants. Barkley injured his ankle in the second quarter and has a high ankle sprain, according to multiple sources. He was on crutches after the game but was optimistic it wasn't a long-term injury. "I'm not out for the season," Barkley said. He later told ESPN that he had a high ankle sprain his freshman year at Penn State. He missed two games because of that injury. Wayne Gallman will take his place as the starting running back. -- Jordan Raanan

          Vance McDonald, TE, Steelers. McDonald injured his shoulder in the first half and didn't return. Xavier Grimble and Zach Gentry replaced McDonald but weren't a factor in the offense. Coach Mike Tomlin didn't know the severity of McDonald's injury after the game. -- Brooke Pryor

          Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, 49ers. Witherspoon has been one of the team's most improved players through the first three weeks and was on his way to another strong outing when he departed Sunday's game with a right foot injury in the third quarter. After the game, Witherspoon told me that he suspected he was dealing with a foot sprain and would have further tests done on Monday. Witherspoon was optimistic that the injury won't be anything serious, saying "I'll be good" and noting that he has a little extra time to heal as the Niners head into a Week 4 bye. -- Nick Wagoner
