News: 16 hours agoMurray completed 13 of 20 passes for 154 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions, rushed twice for six yards and lost a fumble during Sunday's 29-9 victory against the Bears.

Spin: For the first time this season, Murray didn't record a passing touchdown, and he lost a fumble for the third time in nine games. His pass attempts also marked a season low, which was a result of the Cardinals controlling the game on the ground to the tune of 34 carries for 213 yards and three TDs. James Conner (107) accounted for a majority share of the yards, but reserve RBs Emari Demercado and Trey Benson combined for 96 yards between them. As a result, the team wasn't reliant on Murray's arm to get by or play catch up. He may be forced to air it out more next Sunday versus the Jets.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Murray returned as the Cardinals' starter after being sidelined for 11 months due to a right knee injury that he suffered in December 2022. Murray's rehab proved successful, as the dual-threat talent immediately flashed his trademark wheels, averaging more than 30 rushing yards per game between Weeks 10 and 18 last season. He was less consistent as a passer, recording his lowest completion percentage since his 2019 rookie campaign. A considerable amount of his inefficiency, however, could be attributed to a dearth of surrounding talent, as well as Marquise Brown's end-of-season absence (heel). Murray heads into his sixth pro campaign with a full offseason under his belt and plenty of time to build rapport with the team's young pass-catching talent, including fourth overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr. Consider Murray a low-end QB1 for fantasy purposes.
