News: 13 hours agoPerine rushed the ball one time for one yard in Sunday's 38-0 loss to the Broncos. He added one reception on one target for 13 yards.

Spin: Perine drew both of his touches on one offensive possession in the second quarter, with Carson Steele otherwise handling the workload out of the backfield. Perine has served a minimal role in the Kansas City offense throughout the season, and that should continue during the team's postseason run.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Last year, Perine was added as a pass-catching back and insurance policy in case Javonte Williams wasn't ready to return from ACL surgery. Perine proved more useful in the former department, placing 14th among running backs in receptions while only being called upon to start in an injured Williams' stead in Week 5, a week in which Perine scored a modest 11.5 fantasy points. He is probably destined for a mere pass-catching role for 2024, now that Williams is another year removed from surgery. In addition, sophomore Jaleel McLaughlin excelled in a pinch-hitting role last season, and the team drafted Audric Estim� for added depth. Consider Perine bench fodder in PPR leagues.
