Trade targets: All 30 teams (in progress)
Philadelphia 76ers
Record: 7-41

Status: Buyers/Sellers

If the Sixers were a real estate property instead of a basketball team, you might add "default" or "foreclose" to the buy and sell options.
With Jerry Colangelo apparently taking over the reins of the front office, should we expect a change of direction? Is three seasons of tanking enough? How do we factor in Joel Embiid and Dario Saric, recent lottery picks yet to log a minute of NBA action?
Despite improved on-court play of late, uncertainty continues to reign in Philadelphia.
Potential trade targets
Brandon Knight
Eventually the Sixers need to add backcourt help, especially given that the top prospects on the 2016 draft lists are in the frontcourt. Knight, 24, is a hardworking combo guard who can create his own shot and shoot a high percentage from deep off the ball. He's not a great defender but the Sixers should be OK in that regard eventually.
Of course, if Philly wanted Knight, it could have had him at last year's deadline when Michael Carter-Williams was dealt. But that was pre-Colangelo.
Most trade value
1. Jahlil Okafor
Eventually the Sixers will have to balance their roster. Philly's top four prospects play the big-man positions, though Dario Saric may play the 3. If the Sixers win the lottery, Ben Simmons is a great prize but adds to the logjam. Okafor has been productive but might always be a tough fit on defense.
2. Nerlens Noel
Noel ranks 18th in defensive RPM this season even though the Sixers have used him out of position about half the time. He has defensive player of the year potential but doesn't look like a great fit with Okafor for the long run. And the Sixers have a contingency option for a defensive anchor in Joel Embiid.
3. Dario Saric
Saric has pledged to join the Sixers this summer, though it makes more financial sense for him to wait another year. In a league that increasingly values skill and versatility, Saric's rights carry a lot of value.
4. Robert Covington
The Sixers' RPM report looks like a matador's cape: lots of red. The exception is Covington, who has developed into a heck of a player. He has the fourth-best defensive RPM among small forwards and can shoot it from deep.
He's exactly the kind of player half the league would love to acquire at the deadline. His contract is ridiculously team friendly, so the Sixers would have to be bowled over to move Covington.
5. Joel Embiid
Recent reports about Embiid's foot are positive. Most teams would love to acquire Embiid based on his potential and rookie-scale contract. But the injuries make this a poor time to move him.
6. Jerami Grant
Grant lacks offensive utility but has developed into an excellent defender. He plays three positions for the Sixers but is primarily a wing with a positive defensive RPM and a top-shelf block rate. He'd fit any contending team looking for a defensive specialist.
Most valuable draft picks
The Sixers' and Lakers' 2016 first-rounders
The Sixers own a dizzying array of future picks acquired during Sam Hinkie's rebuilding process. None is more valuable than their own pick this June, which should give Philadelphia the lottery's best odds of landing the opportunity to draft Ben Simmons.
Not far behind in value is a first-round pick owed to the Sixers by the Lakers. It's top-three protected this year and next year, then goes unprotected in 2018. If the Sixers decide to cash in a pick for a young veteran, this is the most likely one to get moved, "likely" being a relative term.
Cap space
It's worth remembering that the Sixers still have nearly $10 million in cap space left on the books for the 2015-16 season, once again giving them the option to act as a salary clearinghouse to facilitate a deal between other teams.
Player most likely to be traded
Carl Landry
Landry has played only 11 games this season but is now healthy. He makes little sense on a young team. Yet his per-36-minute averages are eye-popping: 22.4 points, 8 boards and 57 percent shooting.
At 32, he fits on a win-now team needing a reliable pick-and-pop scorer for its bench.
