Three title fights. Four champions. UFC 259 is packed with MMA excellence.
Jan Blachowicz will defend his light heavyweight championship against undefeated middleweight champ Israel Adesanya in Saturday's main event at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas. The co-main event will pit women's featherweight champion Amanda Nunes against Megan Anderson. And the other title fight will be at men's bantamweight, with Petr Yan defending the title against Aljamain Sterling.
The main card will be on pay-per-view, which fans can purchase here. The five-fight PPV card begins at 10 p.m. ET, with prelims on ESPN and ESPN+ starting at 8 p.m., and early prelims on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. The prelims also air in Spanish on ESPN Deportes.
Blachowicz (27-8) has won four fights in a row and eight of his past nine, most recently a second-round TKO of Dominick Reyes in September to win the vacant 205-pound title. He is No. 2 in the ESPN light heavyweight rankings, behind former champ Jon Jones, who vacated the belt to move to heavyweight.
Adesanya (20-0) has been middleweight champ since 2019. His most recent title defense was a TKO of Paulo Costa at the same UFC 253 event at which Blachowicz won the light heavyweight belt. Adesanya is No. 4 in the ESPN pound-for-pound men's rankings.
Nunes (20-4) will be making her second defense of the featherweight title. She also reigns as bantamweight champion and is No. 1 in the ESPN pound-for-pound women's top 10.
Anderson (11-4) has won two fights in a row and is a former Invicta FC featherweight champion.
Yan (15-1) has won 10 in a row, most recently a fifth-round TKO of former men's featherweight champion Jose Aldo last July to win a vacant title.
Sterling (19-3) is No. 2 in the ESPN men's bantamweight rankings, behind Yan. He has won his last five fights.
