Liverpool return to the Premier League with a Saturday lunchtime kickoff against Everton in the latest instalment of the Merseyside Derby.

Liverpool left it late once again on Wednesday to beat Atletico Madrid 3-2, thanks to captain Virgil van Dijk's header in second half stoppage time. That maintained their perfect start to the season, as they began their Champions League campaign with a win, following four wins out of four to open their Premier League season.

Slot's side produced a strong performance against Atletico -- perhaps their best of the season -- could have rued not killing off the game earlier, with presentable opportunities falling to Mohamed Salah and Jeremie Frimpong.

Everton too have had a good start to their Premier League season. They lost their opening game away at Leeds, but then bounced back to pick up wins against Brighton and Wolves, before a goalless draw against Aston Villa last weekend. Their trip to Anfield will be their toughest test of the season yet, and one that presents their manager David Moyes with another opportunity to win at Anfield for the first time in his career.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the game.
