With a full slate of NFL games on this holiday week, let's talk about the potential streaming options to use in your fantasy lineups. I'm looking at two veteran quarterbacks who are throwing the ball efficiently and finding the end zone. There's volume running backs in here. Multiple receivers too, including a rookie coming off a breakout game.
So, let's get into it, starting with Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who played his best football of the season last week.
Roster percentages are updated on Friday each week and players from the Thursday game(s) are taken out.
Quarterbacks
Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans (9.0% rostered; at Bengals)
I don't love Tannehill's Week 12 matchup against a Bengals defense that ranks in the top five against opposing quarterbacks. However, we still have to trust what we see on the tape. Tannehill has posted back-to-back games of 19 or more fantasy points and threw for 333 yards in Week 11 against the Packers -- his best game of the year. He was dialed-in, throwing with location, winning on third down, and hitting the vertical routes. It's safe to roll with Tannehill as a starter in 2QB formats or as a streamer for 12 or 14 team leagues.
Jacoby Brissett, Cleveland Browns (14.5% rostered; vs. Buccaneers)
Game flow increased Brissett's passing volume in Week 11 and he lit up the Bills defense for 324 yards and three touchdowns. Brissett logged 25.86 fantasy points, his second game of 20 or more fantasy points over the past three weeks. He also has been effective rushing the football, registering six or more carries a game over the three week stretch. The Browns passing attack has more upside than you think with Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones, plus the underneath targets to running backs and tight ends. Brissett fits as a potential streaming option this week against the Bucs staple single-high coverages.
Other potential options: Taylor Heinicke, Washington Commanders (21.0% rostered; vs. Falcons)
Running backs
Latavius Murray, Denver Broncos (69.2% rostered; at Panthers)
With the Broncos cutting veteran Melvin Gordon III and Chase Edmonds dealing with an ankle injury, now is the time to pick up Murray (Editor's note: As you can see from his updated roster percentage, many fantasy managers already have). Even if Denver adds another back to the roster, Murray elevates here to a volume role as an early down/goal line runner. The veteran just logged a season-high 17.2 PPR points against the Raiders in Week 11. He can still play downhill so don't be surprised to see Murray ranked as a fringe RB2 for the Week 12 matchup against the Panthers.
Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs (55.3% rostered; vs. Rams)
Pacheco's roster percentage should increase now that he's seeing No. 1 volume in the Chiefs offense. He rushed for a season-high 107 yards on 15 carries in the Week 11 win over the Chargers, which gives him a total of 31 carries over his past two games. As we've said before here, he's a decisive runner who attacks when he sees daylight. With very limited pass game usage, plus Jerick McKinnon role in the Chiefs system, Pacheco's PPR floor takes a hit here. But I still like the rookie this week against the Rams as a streaming option given his run game usage in a high-scoring offense.
Other potential options: Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (45.8% rostered; at Browns); Cam Akers (53.4% rostered; at Chiefs); Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons (43.7% rostered; at Commanders); Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams (16.4% rostered; at Chiefs)
Wide receivers
Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans (35.0% rostered; vs. Bengals)
Burks had seven receptions for 111 yards in Week 11 against the Packers, matching with what I saw on his college tape. He has the physical profile to work underneath, or between the numbers and the speed to stretch defenses at the third level. Last week was a breakout game for Burks, who logged a season-high 18.1 PPR points. I like him again this week against the Bengals given Tannehill's current level on play and the Titans' route structure.
Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns (41.4% rostered; vs. Buccaneers)
Peoples-Jones has clearly showcased his physical tools this season, but the numbers and consistent tape tells us he's developed into more than just an upside play in your lineup. Peoples-Jones posted a season-high 17.1 PPR points in the Week 11 loss to the Bills, his fifth straight game of logging 10 or more PPR points. He'll get some boundary one-on-ones against the Tampa coverage schemes this Sunday.
Other potential options: Skyy Moore, Kansas City Chiefs (16.8% rostered; vs. Rams); Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers (4.5% rostered; at Eagles); DeAndre Carter, Los Angeles Chargers (5.7% rostered; at Cardinals); Terrace Marshall Jr., Carolina Panthers (14.4% rostered; at Broncos); Demarcus Robinson, Baltimore Ravens (12.4% rostered; at Jaguars)
Tight ends
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (33.9% rostered; at 49ers)
I have no issues sticking with Johnson in this spot as a touchdown dependent target -- because he continues to find the end zone. He had another scoring reception in the Week 11 win over the Rams and has now produced a touchdown grab in four of his past five games. We have also seen a bump in target volume for Johnson. The tight end has caught eight of 11 targets in his past two games, with at least 40 yards receiving in both weeks. Even with a tough matchup on deck against the 49ers, Johnson's production makes him my top streamer at tight end this week.
Other potential options: Noah Fant, Seattle Seahawks (31.7% rostered; vs. Raiders); Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders (6.7% rostered; vs. Falcons); Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6.5% rostered; at Browns); Austin Hooper, Tennessee Titans (9.0% rostered; vs. Bengals)
Defense/special teams
Miami Dolphins (53.7% rostered; vs. Houston)
Take the matchup for the Miami Dolphins against the Texans. The offensive line has allowed 16 sacks during the past five games and Kyle Allen will replace Davis Mills as the team's starting QB. It's a good setup for a Miami defense that will heat up the quarterback with pressure, while showing late movement and disguise in the secondary. They will play a lot of single-high coverages and I trust a Miami defense that has registered five sacks and two turnovers over the past two games.
Other potential options: Denver Broncos (57.1% rostered; at Panthers); Kansas City Chiefs (57.5% rostered; vs. Rams)
