Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 12

Welcome to Week 12 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in Week 12 and beyond!

These rankings have been updated for news and to remove players from the three Thanksgiving Day games.

1. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB1): Fantasy's top scorer this season has been even better lately, and the Rams look defeated.

2. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB2): Week 11 was a return to big rushing yards and a score. We like that.

3. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR1)

4. Davante Adams, Raiders (WR2): Three monster games in a row propels him to the top of the rankings. Like old times.

5. Austin Ekeler, Chargers (RB1): Touchdown machine continues to rock regardless of matchup.

6. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB3)

7. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB4): Comes off the bye with two or more touchdown passes in all but two games. Rely on him.

8. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB5)

9. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (RB2): Ran well on first drive vs. Eagles, and then he didn't after that. Still held back by moribund offense.

10. Josh Jacobs, Raiders (RB3)

11. Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (RB4): Still hasn't missed a game. Hey, give credit where due. Now keep on playing, please.

12. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB6)

13. Kyler Murray, Cardinals (QB7): Hamstring injury has kept him out, but if he plays, play him. Cardinals are going nowhere, though, so why rush?

14. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB8): He's not a top-10 QB over the past two months, so one may ask why he remains ranked as one. Fair point.

15. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (TE1)

16. Derrick Henry, Titans (RB5): Perhaps the only player who could come off 30 touches and we never worry about him wearing down.

17. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB6)

18. Tom Brady, Buccaneers (QB9)

19. Derek Carr, Raiders (QB10): As with his top WR, solid numbers the past three weeks, and little reason to think he slows down.

20. Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars (RB7)

21. Nick Chubb, Browns (RB8): Rough Week 11 now has him fourth in the league in rushing. Expect him to bounce back this week.

22. DeAndre Hopkins, Cardinals (WR3): Myriad targets, regardless of quarterback. Good to have the old Hopkins back.

23. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR4): As long as the team's top QB keeps starting (lol), all is well.

24. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR5)

25. James Conner, Cardinals (RB9)

26. Taylor Heinicke, Commanders (QB11)

27. Jacoby Brissett, Browns (QB12): This is likely his final start, but it hasn't been so bad. More PPG than Brady, Carr, many others.

28. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (QB13)

29. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (QB14)

30. Mark Andrews, Ravens (TE2): Clearly not back to full health yet, but ample targets in Week 11. He's safe as long as he plays.

31. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (WR6)

32. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR7): Hasn't surpassed 60 receiving yards in past three games, but nothing to worry about.

33. Alvin Kamara, Saints (RB10)

34. Aaron Jones, Packers (RB11): Eagles can be run on, but Packers give their RBs inconsistent carries. Still, Jones is a solid RB2.

35. Dameon Pierce, Texans (RB12): Has been overcoming this team's dreadful offense all season, so assume he will bounce back.

36. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (QB15)

37. Marcus Mariota, Falcons (QB16): Has 17.7 fantasy points in each of past two games, and there's no sign he'll lose the starting role.

38. Deebo Samuel, 49ers (WR8): His touchdown Monday was his first since Week 5. No worries anymore.

39. Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (WR9)

40. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (WR10)

41. Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (WR11)

42. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR12)

43. Jeff Wilson Jr., Dolphins (RB13)

44. Antonio Gibson, Commanders (RB14): Modest but meaningful production the past few weeks. Should continue to get touches.

45. Christian Kirk, Jaguars (WR13)

46. Keenan Allen, Chargers (WR14): Nice return against Chiefs, and now gets a Cardinals defense that hasn't played well.

47. Rachaad White, Buccaneers (RB15):

48. Amari Cooper, Browns (WR15): Only 13 WRs average more PPR points this season, and Cooper's done this with Brissett at QB.

49. Russell Wilson, Broncos (QB17): Well, at least he didn't have any turnovers last week. Expect double-digit fantasy points, though.

50. Ryan Tannehill, Titans (QB18)

51. Andy Dalton, Saints (QB19): Kind of all-or-nothing recently, and 49ers defense is thriving.

52. Kenny Pickett, Steelers (QB20)

53. Latavius Murray, Broncos (RB16): Value is sky high after Melvin Gordon III release, but touches may not go up much.

54. David Montgomery, Bears (RB17): Back to 20 touches with Khalil Herbert out, so enjoy it while it lasts.

55. Miles Sanders, Eagles (RB18)

56. Najee Harris, Steelers (RB19): Comes off best game in Week 11, and remains a solid RB2. Forget the disappointing first two months.

57. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (WR16)

58. Samaje Perine, Bengals (RB20)

59. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs (WR17): Missed Week 11 with concussion, but if the team activates him, you can as well.

60. Chris Olave, Saints (WR18): Looks like the lone rookie on his way to 1,000 receiving yards. Solid play regardless of matchup.

61. Allen Lazard, Packers (WR19)

62. Matt Ryan, Colts (QB21)

63. Mike White, Jets (QB22):

64. Trevor Siemian, Bears (QB23)

65. Kyle Allen, Texans (QB24)

66. Bryce Perkins, Rams (QB25): Likely fill-in for Matthew Stafford (concussion). He can run, but you should look elsewhere.

67. Sam Darnold, Panthers (QB26)

68. Pat Freiermuth, Steelers (TE3): Only three active tight ends have more fantasy points this season, which says loads about the position, too.

69. Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (WR20): Receiving yards cratered Monday, but he scored two touchdowns. Playing like he's a WR2.

70. Marquise Brown, Cardinals (WR21): He's back, but perhaps not expected to have big volume.

71. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR22)

72. D'Onta Foreman, Panthers (RB21): Three awesome games in the past five, and the others provided next to nothing. Not the safest option here.

73. Michael Carter, Jets (RB22): Tough to run when the passing game is so awful. Keep him rostered, obviously, in case things improve.

74. Cordarrelle Patterson, Falcons (RB23)

75. Christian Watson, Packers (WR23): If Aaron Rodgers loves him, and it appears he does, then we should invest, too.

76. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR24)

77. George Kittle, 49ers (TE4): The old Kittle returned Monday, which is awesome! Now keep doing that!

78. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR25): It's not the time to be activating Jets players, though the Bears defense allows plenty.

79. DJ Moore, Panthers (WR26)

80. Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs (RB24): Running well the past two games, but still has no role in passing game.

81. Kareem Hunt, Browns (RB25)

82. Elijah Mitchell, 49ers (RB26)

83. Mack Hollins, Raiders (WR27)

84. Parris Campbell, Colts (WR28)

85. Joshua Palmer, Chargers (WR29): Looked great versus Chiefs, and it would be nice if he delivered consistent production each week.

86. Demarcus Robinson, Ravens (WR30): Not close to the youngest Ravens WR, but he's the one to rely on today.

87. George Pickens, Steelers (WR31): Such a bright future for this fellow. Perhaps a big second half is coming, but needs more volume.

88. Jerick McKinnon, Chiefs (RB27)

89. Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders (RB28)

90. Tyler Higbee, Rams (TE5)

91. David Njoku, Browns (TE6)

92. Juwan Johnson, Saints (TE7): That's five touchdowns in the past five games. Time to view him as a top-10 tight end!

93. Foster Moreau, Raiders (TE8)

94. Allen Robinson II, Rams (WR32): You expected big things after Cooper Kupp injury, and he got five targets. Keep expectations in check.

95. Diontae Johnson, Steelers (WR33)

96. Zay Jones, Jaguars (WR34)

97. Tyler Boyd, Bengals (WR35)

98. Van Jefferson, Rams (WR36)
