Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 7

Welcome to Week 7 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in Week 7 and beyond!

Week 7 byes: Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles

These rankings have been updated for news and to remove players from Thursday's Saints-Cardinals game.

1. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB1): Hardly as prolific the past three games, but remember, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, even Kirk Cousins are on bye.

2. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB2): Don't expect another 57 pass attempts or nary a touchdown pass. All is well here.

3. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB3)

4. Saquon Barkley, Giants (RB1): With another 26 touches in Week 6, it's clear he is the team's offense.

5. Austin Ekeler, Chargers (RB2)

6. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB4): Remember the four Week 1 interceptions? Hope you didn't panic. He has one interception since.

7. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR1): Three different QBs and still he is the No. 3 WR in PPR scoring. Quite impressive, actually.

8. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (WR2)

9. Derrick Henry, Titans (RB3): He averaged 140 rushing yards in the two Colts games last season. Get ready!

10. Dak Prescott, Cowboys (QB5): He's back! Perhaps we would normally be more cautious in our ranking, but he plays the Lions.

11. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB6): Quiet but efficient outing in Week 6, and he got the win. No reason for concern.

12. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (RB4): He said he'd play last week despite ankle injury and he did not. Watch the news.

13. Davante Adams, Raiders (WR3)

14. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR4): He gets his QB back, though Cooper Rush wasn't really a problem for Lamb.

15. Deebo Samuel, 49ers (WR5): Plenty of targets lately, but only six rushing attempts over three games. Get him the ball more.

16. Mark Andrews, Ravens (TE1)

17. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (TE2): He wasn't going to score four TDs every week, but he got plenty of targets again. Basically, he is a top-10 WR, too.

18. Tom Brady, Buccaneers (QB7): His investors don't have much choice but to assume it gets better. Matchups don't seem to matter.

19. Derek Carr, Raiders (QB8)

20. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB9): Returns from concussion for Sunday night. We rank him well, but he has to stay on the field.

21. Breece Hall, Jets (RB5): The No. 6 PPR RB for the season is, like Barkley, the team's offense, because there's not much passing game.

22. Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers (RB6)

23. Dameon Pierce, Texans (RB7): Back from the bye week and looking to score a TD in his fourth consecutive game.

24. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR6)

25. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR7): Game-time decision in Week 6 with the sore ankle, but saw 10 targets. All is well.

26. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (WR8): Dominant the first two games, hopefully the bye week healed his sprained ankle.

27. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (QB10): Difference between Brady and Rodgers is Brady has surpassed 17 fantasy points in two games. Rodgers has not.

28. Matt Ryan, Colts (QB11): He's actually surpassed 350 passing yards in half his games. Who knew?

29. Josh Jacobs, Raiders (RB8)

30. Joe Mixon, Bengals (RB9)

31. Nick Chubb, Browns (RB10)

32. Daniel Jones, Giants (QB12): Lost a fumble last week, but in general, he's taking care of the football. Not much upside, though.

33. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (QB13): Why Jones over Lawrence? Jones doesn't have to face the Giants defense. Lawrence is inconsistent for sure.

34. Jacoby Brissett, Browns (QB14)

35. Taylor Heinicke, Commanders (QB15): May be an upgrade on their offseason acquisition who struggles to stay healthy and make friends.

36. Jared Goff, Lions (QB16)

37. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (WR9)

38. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (WR10): His Week 6 outing was more like it. Should be a WR2 for sure, regardless of matchup.

39. Marcus Mariota, Falcons (QB17): Borderline QB1 so far may get his team to the playoffs, so Desmond Ridder investors keep waiting.

40. Ryan Tannehill, Titans (QB18)

41. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (QB19)

42. Kenny Pickett, Steelers (QB20): Left Sunday's game with a concussion, but Steelers confident he starts this week.

43. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots (RB11): Could be an RB1 if not for the fact we can't assume big volume in a timeshare. Annoying.

44. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB12): Rookie stalwart should have been starting all along. Why do coaches make them wait?

45. Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys (RB13)

46. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (WR11)

47. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR12): The Denver WRs have to be wondering what's going on. Sutton got only three targets Monday.

48. Amari Cooper, Browns (WR13)

49. Mike Williams, Chargers (WR14): Pat Surtain II shut him down Monday. Williams doesn't have to face him this week.

50. Keenan Allen, Chargers (WR15): Keep an eye on his status, because he is a game-time decision.

51. Davis Mills, Texans (QB21)

52. Aaron Jones, Packers (RB14): Panic time. What are the Packers doing? Have to assume Jones sees real volume this week.

53. Najee Harris, Steelers (RB15): Receiving TD salvaged his Week 6. He says he's healthy, so may be wise time to invest.

54. Raheem Mostert, Dolphins (RB16)

55. David Montgomery, Bears (RB17): Looked fine in that terrible Thursday night game. It's the QB's fault, not his or the offensive line's.

56. Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (WR16)

57. Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (WR17)

58. Zach Wilson, Jets (QB22): Jets aren't letting him throw much, which is weird. This passing offense could be dynamic.

59. Mac Jones, Patriots (QB23): May be QB controversy brewing with Mac and Bailey Zappe. Maybe it's just the system.

60. Justin Fields, Bears (QB24): Top-15 fantasy QB lurks if he would run like last week every game.

61. PJ Walker, Panthers (QB25)

62. Brett Rypien, Broncos (QB26):

63. Brandin Cooks, Texans (WR18): Comes off bye with a nice matchup. He is not on pace for his seventh 1,000-yard receiving season. Yet.

64. Diontae Johnson, Steelers (WR19)

65. Christian Kirk, Jaguars (WR20)

66. Allen Lazard, Packers (WR21)

67. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs (WR22): Comes off his best game with Mahomes. Matchup not much of a factor.

68. Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (RB18): Unsure if he will play -- and if he does, what his role will be -- but if he does, you have to play him.

69. Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (WR23): You'd think the 49ers want to keep him involved after he scored twice in Week 6.

70. Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers (RB19): Struggled in Week 6, which is probably why Aiyuk saw opportunity to thrive.

71. Damien Harris, Patriots (RB20)

72. Jamaal Williams, Lions (RB21): While D'Andre Swift is expected to miss this game, the Cowboys present defensive challenge.

73. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs (RB22): Misleading numbers this season, as he's been really good for us in only two games.

74. Tony Pollard, Cowboys (RB23)

75. Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars (RB24): Looks like he leads the RB depth chart now. Makes no sense that he isn't getting more targets, though.

76. George Kittle, 49ers (TE3): As with Aiyuk, if they only threw to him because they were trailing, it's a problem. Time will tell.

77. Drake London, Falcons (WR24)

78. Rashod Bateman, Ravens (WR25)

79. Jakobi Meyers, Patriots (WR26)

80. Chase Claypool, Steelers (WR27): Gave us little reason to play or roster him before Week 6, but perhaps QB change was all he needed.

81. Kareem Hunt, Browns (RB25)

82. AJ Dillon, Packers (RB26): Along with Aaron Jones, Packers have luxury of two significant RBs, but neither is doing much.

83. Michael Gallup, Cowboys (WR28): Remember, he topped 1,000 yards with Prescott in 2019. Opportunity awaits.

84. Romeo Doubs, Packers (WR29)

85. Alec Pierce, Colts (WR30): Rookie scored game-winning TD Sunday, and target share looks legitimate.

86. George Pickens, Steelers (WR31): Rookie struggled versus Buccaneers, but was solid the two games prior. Believe.

87. Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders (RB27): Rookie appears to be the starter. Add him now before he breaks out, because he will.

88. James Robinson, Jaguars (RB28)

89. Latavius Murray, Broncos (RB29): Can't assume he's the main option, but 16 touches in his first game with the team is a good sign.

90. Melvin Gordon III, Broncos (RB30): Always seemed odd that the Broncos brought him back. What a strangely coached team.

91. Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (RB31)

92. Kenyan Drake, Ravens (RB32): Looks like volume is coming his way again this week!

93. Robert Woods, Titans (WR32)

94. DJ Moore, Panthers (WR33): Not a good sign when seven targets turn into seven receiving yards. Time's running out to keep him rostered.

95. Curtis Samuel, Commanders (WR34)

96. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR35): Things weren't working with the first QB, and McLaurin did well with Heinicke last season. Hmmm.

97. Jerry Jeudy, Broncos (WR36)

98. Darnell Mooney, Bears (WR37): Twelve targets and nearly a game-winning TD catch in Week 6. You don't have to keep him around, but what if?

99. Zay Jones, Jaguars (WR38)

100. David Njoku, Browns (TE4): May be trending toward first 1,000-yard season.

101. T.J. Hockenson, Lions (TE5)

102. Pat Freiermuth, Steelers (TE6)

103. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chiefs (WR39)

104. Hunter Renfrow, Raiders (WR40): Hard to believe he surpassed 1,000 yards last season. Big week for his fantasy value.

105. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR41): Pick a Jet WR, any Jet WR. Hard to make a case for any if they don't let Zach Wilson throw.

106. Corey Davis, Jets (WR42)

107. Donovan Peoples-Jones, Browns (WR43)

108. Michael Carter, Jets (RB33): Ran well versus Packers, but seven touches is obviously not enough.

109. J.D. McKissic, Commanders (RB34)

110. Caleb Huntley, Falcons (RB35)

111. Rex Burkhead, Texans (RB36)

112. D'Onta Foreman, Panthers (RB37): Perhaps a timeshare right away, but then again, perhaps not.

113. Gerald Everett, Chargers (TE7)

114. Kyle Pitts, Falcons (TE8): He matched his rookie TD total, but bigger story was he still has only one game with more than 25 receiving yards.

115. Robert Tonyan, Packers (TE9): Where did those 12 targets come from? Perhaps Rodgers trusts nobody else.

116. Hayden Hurst, Bengals (TE10): May seem odd to see him ranked, but Falcons struggle versus tight ends.

117. Jahan Dotson, Commanders (WR44)

118. Marvin Jones Jr., Jaguars (WR45)

119. Devin Duvernay, Ravens (WR46)

120. Parris Campbell, Colts (WR47)

121. Tyler Boyd, Bengals (WR48)

122. Mack Hollins, Raiders (WR49)

123. Nico Collins, Texans (WR50)

124. Tyquan Thornton, Patriots (WR51)

125. Antonio Gibson, Commanders (RB38)

126. Nyheim Hines, Colts (RB39)

127. Khalil Herbert, Bears (RB40)

128. Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (RB41)

129. Rachaad White, Buccaneers (RB42)

130. Dalton Schultz, Cowboys (TE11)

131. Noah Fant, Seahawks (TE12)

132. Evan Engram, Jaguars (TE13)

133. Cade Otton, Buccaneers (TE14)

134. Christian Watson, Packers (WR52)

135. Noah Brown, Cowboys (WR53)

136. Mecole Hardman, Chiefs (WR54)

137. Wan'Dale Robinson, Giants (WR55)

138. Olamide Zaccheaus, Falcons (WR56)

139. DeVante Parker, Patriots (WR57)

140. Skyy Moore, Chiefs (WR58)

141. Mike Boone, Broncos (RB43)

142. Chase Edmonds, Dolphins (RB44)

143. Dontrell Hilliard, Titans (RB45)

144. Samaje Perine, Bengals (RB46)

145. Jerick McKinnon, Chiefs (RB47)

146. Gus Edwards, Ravens (RB48)

147. Justice Hill, Ravens (RB49)

148. Jaylen Warren, Steelers (RB50)

149. Shi Smith, Panthers (WR59)

150. Terrace Marshall Jr., Panthers (WR60)
