Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 6

Jakobi Meyers has 20 catches for 261 yards in three games played this season. Brian Fluharty-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to Week 6 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in Week 6 and beyond!

Week 6 byes: Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans

These rankings have been updated for news and to remove players from Thursday's Commanders-Bears game.

1. Josh Allen, Bills (QB1): Fantasy's top PPR scorer has eclipsed 23 points in each game. Chiefs matchup should be fun!

2. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB2): Meanwhile, Jackson has fallen short of 15 points in the past two contests. Don't worry. Yet.

3. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB3): More rushing touchdowns than games, but Dallas' defense should present obstacles.

4. Kyler Murray, Cardinals (QB4): Matchup with Seattle should be a productive one for the Cardinals.

5. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB5): Bills aren't easy to throw on, but it's Mahomes. Can't he throw on anyone?

6. Cooper Kupp, Rams (WR1): You know how his 2021 season was historically awesome? He's on a better pace now.

7. Saquon Barkley, Giants (RB1): Injury scare in London, but it appears all is well. We hope it remains that way.

8. Christian McCaffrey, Panthers (RB2): New coach, new QB, and we hope this new thing of playing every game continues.

9. Stefon Diggs, Bills (WR2)

10. Tom Brady, Buccaneers (QB6): Still too many short passes, but if the line can't protect the QB, that's what tends to happen.

11. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB7)

12. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR3): Haha, remember when some were concerned? Kupp-like stats the past two weeks.

13. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR4): Keep an eye on his foot injury, and, you know, who plays quarterback.

14. Austin Ekeler, Chargers (RB3)

15. Nick Chubb, Browns (RB4)

16. Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers (RB5): So much receiving work the past few weeks. No complaints from his investors.

17. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (TE1): In case you're wondering, only three WRs and one RB have more PPR points entering this week.

18. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB8): Yes, I agree that this ranking feels silly and preposterous, but the numbers are what the numbers are. Invest.

19. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB9)

20. Deebo Samuel, 49ers (WR5): Volume down a bit and it's concerning, but it's a strong matchup this week.

21. Marquise Brown, Cardinals (WR6): Certainly enjoying his target share, but DeAndre Hopkins can return in Week 7.

22. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (WR7)

23. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR8): Eight or more targets each week. Huge matchup in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

24. Mark Andrews, Ravens (TE2)

25. Dalvin Cook, Vikings (RB6)

26. Alvin Kamara, Saints (RB7): That's the kind of volume we need to see. Now he just needs to stay healthy.

27. Joe Mixon, Bengals (RB8): Looked better in Week 5 and raised his yards per rush to 3.1 on the season.

28. Breece Hall, Jets (RB9): There's star power here, especially if the offense commits to getting him more targets.

29. Kirk Cousins, Vikings (QB10)

30. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (QB11): Two touchdown passes in four consecutive games. He's not really struggling.

31. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR9)

32. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (WR10)

33. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (WR11)

34. Matthew Stafford, Rams (QB12): For perspective, he has fewer fantasy points than Baker Mayfield. Ew. Should rebound some against Baker's team.

35. Russell Wilson, Broncos (QB13): He intends to keep playing, but again, as with Stafford, if you can add a QB playing better, with a good matchup, do it.

36. Daniel Jones, Giants (QB14): Playing it safe, and for Jones that's been a good thing. They're winning and Jones is the No. 14 QB in fantasy scoring.

37. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR12): Avoid the QB if you want, but his top WR is doing fine.

38. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR13)

39. Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers (RB10): Perhaps we all underrated him. Elijah Mitchell isn't getting his starting role back unless Wilson gets hurt.

40. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots (RB11): Those wishing he'd get all the touches may get their wish with Damien Harris likely out awhile.

41. Aaron Jones, Packers (RB12)

42. Zach Wilson, Jets (QB15): Quiet through two games, and Packers are not a great matchup for him. Still, he appears competent.

43. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (QB16): Followed up the turnover game in Philly with something even more disappointing. Needs to get better.

44. Jacoby Brissett, Browns (QB17)

45. Marcus Mariota, Falcons (QB18)

46. Mike Williams, Chargers (WR14): Could debate the order of Williams and the next fellow, but if they're active, you want both active for you.

47. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (QB19)

48. Andy Dalton, Saints (QB20): Starts again for Jameis Winston. Dalton has been fine, but he's missing WRs, too.

49. Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (WR15): This may be the final chance to acquire him for far less than his real value. Good numbers are coming.

50. Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (WR16): Good numbers have been coming. What a stunning start for the Seattle passing offense.

51. Gabe Davis, Bills (WR17): Needs more volume, and if he gets it, would be real fantasy difference-maker.

52. Miles Sanders, Eagles (RB13)

53. Melvin Gordon III, Broncos (RB14): Had 100 total yards and nary a fumble versus strong run defense. He's a bit underrated now.

54. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (WR18): Certainly not on his way to 2021 numbers, and little reason to expect sudden change.

55. Christian Kirk, Jaguars (WR19): Stunning how the Jaguars aren't getting him more volume recently.

56. Diontae Johnson, Steelers (WR20)

57. Zach Ertz, Cardinals (TE3): By default, he's moved up to being fantasy's No. 3 tight end. Good numbers, but No. 3?

58. Cooper Rush, Cowboys (QB21): Matchup in Philly may be his final start with Dak Prescott on the mend. Competent option this week.

59. Matt Ryan, Colts (QB22)

60. Raheem Mostert, Dolphins (RB15): So talented, but little consistency here. Boom-or-bust option.

61. J.K. Dobbins, Ravens (RB16)

62. Mac Jones, Patriots (QB23): Ankle may need more time. Bailey Zappe isn't hurting the offense, either.

63. Kenny Pickett, Steelers (QB24): Threw for 327 yards at Buffalo and now gets Tampa Bay. Doesn't seem quite so fair.

64. PJ Walker, Panthers (QB25): Not a recommended option, but probably will be an improvement on Baker Mayfield.

65. Skylar Thompson, Dolphins (QB26): Tua Tagovailoa is not ready to return. Someone has to play quarterback.

66. Tyler Higbee, Rams (TE4): Better numbers than many realize. Stafford definitely looks his way.

67. Amari Cooper, Browns (WR21)

68. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR22)

69. Rondale Moore, Cardinals (WR23): Healthy, and they're getting him the ball in open space. It's a good thing.

70. Drake London, Falcons (WR24)

71. Jakobi Meyers, Patriots (WR25): One more touchdown and he ties a career high. He's getting the targets.

72. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB17): Time to shine with Rashaad Penny done. One or two big plays per game and it's worth it.

73. Najee Harris, Steelers (RB18): Time to worry, as these are not his rookie numbers at all.

74. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs (WR26)

75. DJ Moore, Panthers (WR27): If chemistry with Walker is better, then now is a good time to acquire Moore.

76. Allen Lazard, Packers (WR28)

77. Romeo Doubs, Packers (WR29)

78. Adam Thielen, Vikings (WR30)

79. Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys (RB19)

80. Devin Singletary, Bills (RB20): Will be tough to help in fantasy if he never rushes for 50 yards, and doesn't score rushing TDs.

81. Eno Benjamin, Cardinals (RB21): Gets the start in tasty matchup with James Conner out.

82. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs (RB22): Rough outing on Monday, but no real cause for concern yet.

83. Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars (RB23)

84. James Robinson, Jaguars (RB24): Backfield hierarchy may have changed last week, but Robinson remains relevant.

85. Isaiah McKenzie, Bills (WR31): Missed game with concussion, and Gabe Davis made big plays. Can they coexist?

86. Darrell Henderson Jr., Rams (RB25): Gets to start this week with Cam Akers out. Needs to prove himself.

87. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR32)

88. Deon Jackson, Colts (RB26)

89. Jerry Jeudy, Broncos (WR33): Was ranked right next to Sutton prior to season, but not anymore. Needs more touches.

90. George Kittle, 49ers (TE5): Disappointing numbers through three games, but at least he's healthy.

91. Dallas Goedert, Eagles (TE6)

92. David Njoku, Browns (TE7): More than 70 receiving yards in three consecutive games. Kind of underrated.

93. Zay Jones, Jaguars (WR34)

94. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chiefs (WR35): Season bests in targets, catches and yards against Las Vegas. Not a bad bye-week fill-in.

95. AJ Dillon, Packers (RB27)

96. Kareem Hunt, Browns (RB28)

97. Tony Pollard, Cowboys (RB29): You'd think Cowboys would give him more touches, and us more reason to activate him. Perhaps soon.

98. Elijah Moore, Jets (WR36): Sixth on the team in receptions. That seems unlikely to continue. Invest.

99. Corey Davis, Jets (WR37)

100. Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (WR38)

101. Alec Pierce, Colts (WR39): Seeing similar volume to Pittman lately, which shouldn't happen, but it is. Pierce is worth a deep-league look.

102. Michael Carter, Jets (RB30): Sure, he scored two short touchdowns in Week 5, but the reality is he's trending in the wrong direction.

103. Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (RB31): Still enough volume to keep us interested. Stick with him, even in another tough matchup.

104. Mike Boone, Broncos (RB32)

105. Phillip Lindsay, Colts (RB33):

106. Gerald Everett, Chargers (TE8)

107. Kyle Pitts, Falcons (TE9): Hamstring injury cost him a game. Fantasy managers may want him to miss another.

108. Michael Gallup, Cowboys (WR40)

109. George Pickens, Steelers (WR41): Time's running out to get this exciting rookie, even as we acknowledge tough Steelers schedule.

110. Devin Duvernay, Ravens (WR42): If he keeps seeing targets and rushing attempts, we will become really interested.

111. Tyler Boyd, Bengals (WR43): Good insurance if Higgins has to sit.

112. Chase Claypool, Steelers (WR44)

113. Hayden Hurst, Bengals (TE10): Targets and touchdowns in consecutive weeks. May be trending toward the TE top 10.

114. Irv Smith Jr., Vikings (TE11)

115. Tevin Coleman, 49ers (RB34): Scored two touchdowns in Week 5, but there's no guarantee of playing time here.

116. Chase Edmonds, Dolphins (RB35)

117. Joshua Palmer, Chargers (WR45): Had chances with Keenan Allen out and was largely quiet.

118. Randall Cobb, Packers (WR46): Twelve targets the first four games, then 13 in Week 5. If he gets the targets, we will get interested.

119. Marquez Callaway, Saints (WR47)

120. Julio Jones, Buccaneers (WR48): Honestly, you need to stop relying on him. Bucs seem rather indifferent.

121. Ben Skowronek, Rams (WR49)

122. Allen Robinson II, Rams (WR50): Sure looks like time to move on. It was weeks ago.

123. Rachaad White, Buccaneers (RB36): Averaging 2.2 yards per rush, which isn't enough to interest anyone.

124. Alexander Mattison, Vikings (RB37)

125. Joshua Kelley, Chargers (RB38)

126. Samaje Perine, Bengals (RB39)

127. DeeJay Dallas, Seahawks (RB40)

128. Donovan Peoples-Jones, Browns (WR51)

129. A.J. Green, Cardinals (WR52)

130. Kenneth Gainwell, Eagles (RB41)

131. K.J. Osborn, Vikings (WR53)

132. Keaontay Ingram, Cardinals (RB42)

133. Russell Gage, Buccaneers (WR54)

134. Kevin Harris, Patriots (RB43)

135. Robbie Anderson, Panthers (WR55)

136. Mecole Hardman, Chiefs (WR56)

137. Jaylen Warren, Steelers (RB44)

138. Caleb Huntley, Falcons (RB45)

139. Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs (RB46)

140. Jerick McKinnon, Chiefs (RB47)

141. Mark Ingram II, Saints (RB48)

142. Robert Tonyan, Packers (TE12)

143. Jamal Agnew, Jaguars (WR57)

144. Tyler Conklin, Jets (TE13)

145. DeVante Parker, Patriots (WR58)

146. Alec Pierce, Colts (WR59)

147. Quez Watkins, Eagles (WR60)

148. Noah Brown, Cowboys (WR61)

149. Avery Williams, Falcons (RB49)

150. James Cook, Bills (RB50)
