Welcome to Week 3 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in Week 3 and beyond!
These rankings have been updated for news and to remove players from Thursday's Steelers-Browns game.
1. Josh Allen, Bills (QB1): Toyed with Titans defense on Monday, and Miami's defense wasn't exactly awesome in Week 2.
2. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB2): He's the one who toyed with Miami's defense, before the Dolphins stormed back. Jackson is unstoppable, too.
3. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB3)
4. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB4): Monday night was quite the performance, and the Eagles certainly should be motivated to face their former QB on Sunday.
5. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB5): Fractured rib cartilage has to concern us and he's going to be a gametime call. It's a 4:05 p.m. ET game, so have a backup plan in case he's out.
6. Kyler Murray, Cardinals (QB6)
7. Cooper Kupp, Rams (WR1)
8. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR2): Relatively quiet against the Eagles, but hardly means other teams can contain him. Especially the Lions.
9. Davante Adams, Raiders (WR3)
10. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (RB1): Really needs better QB play to open things up a little. It should happen this week and beyond. No worries. Yet.
11. Matthew Stafford, Rams (QB7)
12. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB8): Offensive line is making things tough for him, but talent should shine through against Jets.
13. Kirk Cousins, Vikings (QB9): Eagles blitzed him and forced interceptions. Lions should be easier opponent.
14. Tom Brady, Buccaneers (QB10): Look, we cannot give up. Someone will catch the passes with Mike Evans suspended. Maybe Gronk appears!
15. Russell Wilson, Broncos (QB11)
16. Dalvin Cook, Vikings (RB2)
17. Austin Ekeler, Chargers (RB3)
18. Christian McCaffrey, Panthers (RB4): Perhaps nobody wants to discuss, but eight catches on 10 targets in two games is not what investors signed up for.
19. Deebo Samuel, 49ers (WR4): I think his stock is up now with a proven quarterback who had no trouble getting him touches last season.
20. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (WR5)
21. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (WR6): It may look odd to see his name ranked so nicely, but the numbers tell the story. He's dominating.
22. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR7): We have to assume things just won't be as easy against the Bills. Not that anyone would sit Hill.
23. Stefon Diggs, Bills (WR8)
24. Derek Carr, Raiders (QB12)
25. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB13): That was some incredible comeback, but Week 1 mattered, too. Week 3 isn't the tiebreaker, but keep hopes in check.
26. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (QB14): Nobody on this team has double-digit targets so far. Buccaneers not the right opponent for this offense to emerge.
27. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (QB15)
28. Marcus Mariota, Falcons (QB16): Rams shut down his ability to run in Week 2. That's a concern for those relying on Mariota in superflex.
29. Carson Wentz, Commanders (QB17): Eagles can't wait to face their former, disgruntled teammate. Wentz is off to a nice start, but can we really trust him?
30. Joe Mixon, Bengals (RB5)
31. Derrick Henry, Titans (RB6): Let's assume his bad Monday was due to the Bills. If it happens in Week 3, then we worry.
32. D'Andre Swift, Lions (RB7): Must get more touches to justify this lofty ranking, but the Lions were just being safe with his health last week. We hope.
33. Saquon Barkley, Giants (RB8): Heavy workload is good and right now he's sure got it. Monday night spotlight, too!
34. Jared Goff, Lions (QB18)
35. Ryan Tannehill, Titans (QB19): That was ugly on Monday. Not saying Titans go to raw rookie Malik Willis if losing continues, but definitely in play.
36. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB20): He's not really the problem in this offense. He's fine for multi-QB formats, including this week versus Falcons.
37. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (QB21): Well, he's been a top-20 fantasy QB in his past two full seasons. Not sure what would change now.
38. Daniel Jones, Giants (QB22)
39. Mac Jones, Patriots (QB23)
40. Justin Fields, Bears (QB24): Threw for 191 yards in the ... sorry, being told that is his two-game total. Yikes. And he's not getting rushing yards.
41. Mark Andrews, Ravens (TE1)
42. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (TE2)
43. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR9)
44. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (WR10): Missed Week 2 with quad injury and the Colts looked inept offensively. He's back this week.
45. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (WR11): Certainly no concerns about his touches through two weeks. Looks like Miami has a WR1 and WR2.
46. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR12)
47. Keenan Allen, Chargers (WR13): Hamstring injury cost him Week 2, but it was a Thursday game. Again, we assume he plays this week and plays well.
48. Joe Flacco, Jets (QB25): There's no QB controversy, but he has eclipsed 300 passing yards in both games. Don't ignore him against the Bengals.
49. Jameis Winston, Saints (QB26)
50. Matt Ryan, Colts (QB27): Having Pittman back would change everything for him and the running game, apparently.
51. Davis Mills, Texans (QB28)
52. Cooper Rush, Cowboys (QB29): Maybe Dak Prescott returns soon, maybe not. Regardless, Rush looks competent enough.
53. Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers (RB9)
54. Alvin Kamara, Saints (RB10): Rib injury cost him Week 2. I'd be wary about trading for Kamara as a safe RB1 at this point.
55. Baker Mayfield, Panthers (QB30)
56. Javonte Williams, Broncos (RB11): Tough matchup with 49ers, but it's clear Williams tops the depth chart here.
57. David Montgomery, Bears (RB12): Nice bounce-back game for him and, perhaps most importantly, not sharing many touches.
58. Aaron Jones, Packers (RB13)
59. James Conner, Cardinals (RB14): Ankle injury ruined his Week 2, and the Rams aren't so much fun to run against.
60. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR14)
61. Christian Kirk, Jaguars (WR15): Looks like a solid WR2 at this point, regardless of matchup. Boy, the Cardinals could use someone like him.
62. Brandin Cooks, Texans (WR16): Slow start, but the numbers are always there. Don't panic yet.
63. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR17)
64. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR18)
65. Antonio Gibson, Commanders (RB15)
66. Miles Sanders, Eagles (RB16): Looks great so far. Fingers crossed he can stay healthy a few more months.
67. Josh Jacobs, Raiders (RB17)
68. James Robinson, Jaguars (RB18): Doesn't look like much of a timeshare here. Trust Robinson as an RB2 again, regardless of matchup.
69. Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys (RB19): Watch him run and he's OK, but nothing special. The QB is not the problem.
70. Darren Waller, Raiders (TE3):
71. George Kittle, 49ers (TE4): He's in for this week and we hope for many more weeks. Fingers crossed.
72. Mike Williams, Chargers (WR19)
73. Michael Thomas, Saints (WR20): Targets and TDs are there, but the yards may not be. Lot of shorter passes.
74. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR21)
75. DJ Moore, Panthers (WR22): Not many catches or yards so far, but as with Cooks, the numbers are always there, regardless of QB.
76. Gabe Davis, Bills (WR23): Late scratch for Monday due to ankle injury. He could have done damage in that game. Sigh.
77. Dameon Pierce, Texans (RB20): Looks like he's taking over as starter, as expected. Volume is key.
78. Damien Harris, Patriots (RB21)
79. Cordarrelle Patterson, Falcons (RB22): Only three receptions on six targets so far. Falcons need to do better here.
80. Rashaad Penny, Seahawks (RB23)
81. AJ Dillon, Packers (RB24): I get questions every week about trusting a backup, but he's not really a backup, you know?
82. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs (RB25)
83. Marquise Brown, Cardinals (WR24): He's not bringing back memories of DeAndre Hopkins in his prime, that's for sure. Still a WR3/4, though.
84. Rashod Bateman, Ravens (WR25): Long touchdown receptions work for us. Tough to assume they continue consistently, though.
85. Drake London, Falcons (WR26)
86. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR27): He and London look like rookies we can trust, even when the QBs change.
87. Curtis Samuel, Commanders (WR28)
88. Adam Thielen, Vikings (WR29): Quiet on Monday until the fourth quarter. Let's assume Vikings' offense will improve this week.
89. J.K. Dobbins, Ravens (RB26): Ravens are taking things slowly, though some clarity would be nice. Plan ahead for more missed games in case.
90. Tony Pollard, Cowboys (RB27)
91. Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers (RB28): Solid Week 2 outing, and seemingly no competition for touches, but the 49ers always find others. Perhaps Marlon Mack.
92. Darrell Henderson Jr., Rams (RB29): More efficient than his timeshare buddy so far. Try to avoid activating either, but if choosing, Henderson for now.
93. Cam Akers, Rams (RB30)
94. Michael Carter, Jets (RB31)
95. Jerry Jeudy, Broncos (WR30): Rib injury may make it tough to trust him this week, and it's the Sunday night game, too. May not know Sunday morning.
96. Allen Robinson II, Rams (WR31)
97. Julio Jones, Buccaneers (WR32): Yep, I thought things would be different and then he misses Week 2. I have to stop trusting him. Stop!
98. Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (WR33)
99. Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (WR34): Hmmm, one bad game, one good one. Same deal. You'll never know when the big games are coming.
100. Devin Singletary, Bills (RB32)
101. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots (RB33)
102. Chase Edmonds, Dolphins (RB34): Disappointing seven targets over two games. Tough to rely on him at this point.
103. Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars (RB35): Disappointing is the right word here. Things have to improve, but Robinson is safe at this point.
104. J.D. McKissic, Commanders (RB36)
105. Raheem Mostert, Dolphins (RB37): Very involved in Week 2, but durable is not the word to describe him.
106. Melvin Gordon III, Broncos (RB38): Investors are moving on, but that's a mistake. He showed he mattered last season.
107. Tyler Higbee, Rams (TE5): Moving way up the TE ranks because Stafford continues to target him.
108. T.J. Hockenson, Lions (TE6)
109. Kyle Pitts, Falcons (TE7): What are the Falcons doing here? Two catches per game? Keep Pitts rostered. Talent eventually wins out.
110. Dallas Goedert, Eagles (TE8)
111. Zach Ertz, Cardinals (TE9)
112. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR35): Hurts went his direction early and often, proving the Week 1 goose egg was aberrant.
113. Nelson Agholor, Patriots (WR36): Not a great option, but the Ravens sure got thrown on last week.
114. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs (WR37)
115. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chiefs (WR38): Take your pick with the Chiefs' WR options. No, really. Mahomes warned us, too.
116. Mecole Hardman, Chiefs (WR39)
117. Jamaal Williams, Lions (RB39)
118. Rex Burkhead, Texans (RB40)
119. Breece Hall, Jets (RB41): Can't say I would start him over Carter yet in fantasy, but keep the rookie rostered. We know he's talented.
120. Mark Ingram II, Saints (RB42): Kamara insurance, though even if Ingram starts again, can you trust him in fantasy? Not really.
121. Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (RB43)
122. Jerick McKinnon, Chiefs (RB44)
123. Nyheim Hines, Colts (RB45): He has more PPR points than his QB Matt Ryan so far. Yep, these catches matter in PPR!
124. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB46): Rough debut versus 49ers, but Seahawks have to give him touches at some point.
125. Zack Moss, Bills (RB47)
126. Robbie Anderson, Panthers (WR40)
127. Elijah Moore, Jets (WR41)
128. Chris Olave, Saints (WR42)
129. Breshad Perriman, Buccaneers (WR43): Caught a Brady touchdown pass in Week 2, and with so much uncertainty among the team's WRs, he may again.
130. Russell Gage, Buccaneers (WR44)
131. Allen Lazard, Packers (WR45): Scored on short TD in Week 2, but we can't trust him until we see more targets.
132. Kenneth Gainwell, Eagles (RB48)
133. Khalil Herbert, Bears (RB49)
134. Eno Benjamin, Cardinals (RB50): Nice Conner insurance, though a difficult matchup with Rams.
135. Dontrell Hilliard, Titans (RB51): Tennessee's PPR scoring leader through two games, and he played in only one of them!
136. Jordan Mason, 49ers (RB52)
137. Sterling Shepard, Giants (WR46): TD in Week 1, 10 targets in Week 2. May be something going on here.
138. Zay Jones, Jaguars (WR47)
139. Darnell Mooney, Bears (WR48): Sigh. I'm keeping him rostered a few more weeks just to make sure.
140. Jahan Dotson, Commanders (WR49)
141. Robert Woods, Titans (WR50)
142. Nico Collins, Texans (WR51)
143. DJ Chark, Lions (WR52)
144. Jarvis Landry, Saints (WR53)
145. Marvin Jones Jr., Jaguars (WR54)
146. Joshua Palmer, Chargers (WR55)
147. Michael Gallup, Cowboys (WR56)
148. Treylon Burks, Titans (WR57)
149. Tyler Boyd, Bengals (WR58)
150. DeVante Parker, Patriots (WR59)
