Welcome to Week 8 of the fantasy football flex rankings, as we aim to help your decision-making for PPR formats by combining the best of the running backs, wide receivers and tight ends into one tidy list. Is the list perfect? Of course not, not only because news could affect things before Sunday, but also because these are human beings and if we knew precisely how each one would perform, well, then that would really be a fantasy, eh? Anyway, best of luck with your flex choices!
1. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans: Tough game versus the Steelers and he still got his 75 rushing yards and a touchdown. This fellow does not have bad games and nobody is within 100 rushing yards of him.
2. Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints: Four players have more receptions, and each is a wide receiver. The floor is high here.
3. Davante Adams, WR, Packers: Monster performance in return from injury. Aaron Rodgers trusts him, and perhaps only him.
4. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers: Well, he also trusts Jones, but Jones has to be out there to trust first. Keep an eye on his status.
5. Kareem Hunt, RB, Browns
6. Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings: Expected back from injury, but keep his backup around in case something happens again.
7. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers: Top 10 in catches and targets and his rookie quarterback is apparently all sorts of awesome.
8. Tyler Lockett, WR, Seahawks: His quarterback is OK, too.
9. Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders
10. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys: His quarterback is not necessarily OK, but things should improve because the volume is there.
11. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Chiefs: Second in the NFL in rushing, so reports of him being a fantasy bust seem off base.
12. James Conner, RB, Steelers
13. A.J. Brown, WR, Titans: A generous ranking, you say? If you look at what he has done the past three weeks, perhaps not. Brown can do a lot for your fantasy teams.
14. Julio Jones, WR, Falcons
15. Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs: Relatively quiet Patrick Mahomes the past few games, but Hill keeps finding the end zone. Nary a 100-yard game yet, though.
16. DK Metcalf, WR, Seahawks: I need to see him running the 400 meters in the Olympics. Wow.
17. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings
18. Michael Thomas, WR, Saints: Suit up first and then all should be OK. But you have to suit up!
19. Mike Davis, RB, Panthers: Seems like Christian McCaffrey might need one more week, so Davis gets the fortuitous Thursday matchup with the Falcons.
20. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals
21. Todd Gurley II, RB, Falcons: Well, fantasy managers wanted the touchdown. What an odd situation to be in.
22. Stefon Diggs, WR, Bills
23. Allen Robinson II, WR, Bears: Still unstoppable at times, though the quarterback play does a good job stopping him.
24. Boston Scott, RB, Eagles: Assume no Miles Sanders this week, so Scott gets to run on the Dallas defense, such as it is.
25. Myles Gaskin, RB, Dolphins
26. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts
27. Calvin Ridley, WR, Falcons: The Julio Jones return is not hurting Ridley. Fewer targets, but still he finds the end zone.
28. Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals
29. George Kittle, TE, 49ers: The constant in the passing game looks healthy again.
30. Amari Cooper, WR, Cowboys: The one Dallas receiver still getting his numbers. Would assume Darius Slay tries to stop that from occurring.
31. DJ Moore, WR, Panthers
32. Robby Anderson, WR, Panthers
33. Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers: No Chris Godwin or Antonio Brown this week, so Evans should get healthy stats. And then, well, who knows?
34. Melvin Gordon III, RB, Broncos
35. Ronald Jones II, RB, Buccaneers: Fourth in the NFL in rushing, but his own coaching staff still seems rather unimpressed. How frustrating.
36. Cooper Kupp, WR, Rams: Frankly, I am a bit disappointed in both of the similarly valuable Rams receivers.
37. Robert Woods, WR, Rams
38. Kenny Golladay, WR, Lions
39. Darrell Henderson Jr., RB, Rams: I think at this point we should assume this is the team's top running back, and we were clearly misled by the Cam Akers talk. What a shame.
40. D'Andre Swift, RB, Lions: Speaking of misleading, no idea why this offense does not simply give Swift the volume. What are the Lions waiting for?
41. Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings
42. Travis Fulgham, WR, Eagles
43. David Montgomery, RB, Bears: Time to realize this fellow is just not all that great.
44. Le'Veon Bell, RB, Chiefs: Figure on more volume this week and potential RB2 value moving ahead.
45. Leonard Fournette, RB, Buccaneers Well, the decision-makers clearly want him involved, which is fine, but also a bit odd.
46. Marquise Brown, WR, Ravens
47. Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals
48. Jamison Crowder, WR, Jets: Missed Week 7 with a groin injury, but this ranking shows how much he is valued when he plays. Just make sure he does play.
49. Cole Beasley, WR, Bills: Two more 100-yard games than Tyreek Hill and boasts eight more receptions, too. Hill is great, but Beasley is a bit underrated. Except here.
50. Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers: If you think you know which Steelers receiver will score each week, good luck with that. Trust the ones getting volume.
51. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers
52. Darren Waller, TE, Raiders
53. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs
54. Sterling Shepard, WR, Giants
55. DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins: Cannot wait to see what Tua Tagovailoa does with this opportunity. He has solid players to throw to, of course.
56. Darius Slayton, WR, Giants
57. Scotty Miller, WR, Buccaneers: Solid flex choice in Week 8, but after that, might have no role at all.
58. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens
59. Jarvis Landry, WR, Browns: I would not assume that he gets so much target love now that Odell Beckham Jr. is done for the season.
60. A.J. Green, WR, Bengals: Much better the past two games. Still, as with Landry, looking for his first touchdown reception.
61. Carlos Hyde, RB, Seahawks: Looks like Chris Carson misses at least one game, but Hyde is not 100% healthy himself. Keep up with the news.
62. JaMycal Hasty, RB, 49ers: Someone has to run the football for this offense, and Hasty looked the part in Week 7.
63. Jerick McKinnon, RB, 49ers
64. Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers
65. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Cowboys: Just throw him some short passes in space and see what he can do! Well, that still requires some pass protection.
66. Nelson Agholor, WR, Raiders: And now he is a touchdown machine. Because of course he is.
67. Chase Claypool, WR, Steelers
68. Justin Jackson, RB, Chargers: Rather than deciding which Chargers running back to go with, how about sitting them both and waiting for Austin Ekeler?
69. Joshua Kelley, RB, Chargers
70. La'Mical Perine, RB, Jets: One would think the Jets would play the younger option much more and see whether he is part of the future.
71. Damien Harris, RB, Patriots: Kind of the same thing here, no?
72. Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts
73. Devin Singletary, RB, Bills: Disappointing season and no signs that it will change soon. Forget the round you took him in and play someone else!
74. Latavius Murray, RB, Saints
75. Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers
76. Corey Davis, WR, Titans
77. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts
78. Mike Williams, WR, Chargers
79. Julian Edelman, WR, Patriots: Have to assume both he and his struggling quarterback are battling injuries.
80. Rashard Higgins, WR, Browns: Did you know this is his fifth season with Cleveland? Perhaps this is finally his time to shine.
81. Kendrick Bourne, WR, 49ers: Nothing in Week 7, but with Deebo Samuel out, some wide receiver has to catch passes. Well, that is technically not true.
82. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Buccaneers
83. Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers: Keep him around in case Aaron Jones sits again. We know Williams has game.
84. Devonta Freeman, RB, Giants
85. Rex Burkhead, RB, Patriots
86. Mark Ingram II, RB, Ravens: We shall see whether the bye week was enough to get him back to 2019 production. This ranking shows skepticism.
87. James White, RB, Patriots
88. Zack Moss, RB, Bills: This ranking shows skepticism that the Bills give him a big workload, but what do they have to lose? Singletary is not thriving.
89. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Broncos
90. Marvin Jones Jr., WR, Lions
91. Hunter Renfrow, WR, Raiders
92. John Brown, WR, Bills
93. Zach Pascal, WR, Colts
94. Phillip Lindsay, RB, Broncos
95. Brian Hill, RB, Falcons
96. Giovani Bernard, RB, Bengals
97. Henry Ruggs III, WR, Raiders
98. Alexander Mattison, RB, Vikings
99. Frank Gore, RB, Jets
100. Adrian Peterson, RB, Lions
Others: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ravens; Malcolm Brown, RB, Rams; Greg Ward, WR, Eagles; Michael Gallup, WR, Cowboys; Noah Fant, TE, Broncos; Hunter Henry, TE, Chargers; Corey Clement, RB, Eagles; Matt Breida, RB, Dolphins; Tony Pollard, RB, Cowboys; DeeJay Dallas, RB, Seahawks
