Well, Week 5 took a bit longer than expected, but such is the state of the NFL during a pandemic! Fantasy football managers might struggle with lineup decisions more than ever before, not knowing for sure about games pushed back into the week. Regardless, here is an early version of the Week 6 flex rankings, with the current schedule and injury situations as of Wednesday. Pay attention to the latest news, and good luck!
1. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys: He might have been ranked in this spot even with Dak Prescott healthy. Alvin Kamara and the Saints are on a bye this week.
2.
3. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans
4. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers: Rolling along off his bye week averaging nearly 6 yards per carry.
5. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings: Seems as if he was always open versus Seattle. Atlanta is an even easier defense to exploit.
6. Davante Adams, WR, Packers: Have to assume the injured hamstring is healthy, but hamstrings tend to reinjure, so be prepared.
7. Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs
8. Kareem Hunt, RB, Browns: So much volume and more weeks with Nick Chubb sidelined make for happy fantasy managers.
9. Mike Davis, RB, Panthers: If Christian McCaffrey returns this week, he would be ranked better than this, and Davis would have little value.
10. Calvin Ridley, WR, Falcons: Matt Ryan is struggling, but Ridley got his numbers in Week 5.
11. Alexander Mattison, RB, Vikings: Dalvin Cook should miss at least this week, and Mattison is in a prime spot to deliver big numbers.
12. Miles Sanders, RB, Eagles: Broke off a 74-yard touchdown versus the Steelers, but otherwise was quiet.
13. Stefon Diggs, WR, Bills
14. Allen Robinson II, WR, Bears
15. Kenny Golladay, WR, Lions
16. Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers
17. Julio Jones, WR, Falcons: Another receiver sidelined with a hamstring injury. Perhaps he'll play this week, but no guarantee.
18. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Chiefs: Enough volume that occasional touchdowns should be there. OK, so he might not be a top-five fantasy option, but do not sit him.
19. James Conner, RB, Steelers
20. James Robinson, RB, Jaguars
21. Amari Cooper, WR, Cowboys: Andy Dalton is not going to hand the football off to Elliott 40 times. Cooper and the others should get targets.
22. Cooper Kupp, WR, Rams: San Francisco's defense is kind of a mess, and Jared Goff is performing well.
23. Robert Woods, WR, Rams
24. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs
25. Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers: Guess what, another hamstring injury! At least they do not have the Thursday game again.
26. Robby Anderson, WR, Panthers: Incredible how these big numbers just keep coming. Nice work, Teddy Bridgewater!
27. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals
28. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts: You might not think he is good, but when this offense decides to pass less, Taylor will thrive.
29. David Montgomery, RB, Bears
30. Todd Gurley II, RB, Falcons: Impressive against Carolina, and best of all, he has not missed a game! The team has yet to win, but that's not on Gurley.
31. Raheem Mostert, RB, 49ers: Looked healthy in Week 5, but have to wonder whether big volume will ever arrive.
32. Marquise Brown, WR, Ravens: Perhaps Philadelphia can avoid covering him with a linebacker. Perhaps not.
33. A.J. Brown, WR, Titans
34. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Browns
35. George Kittle, TE, 49ers: Not sure which quarterback will play -- or whether whoever it is will play well -- but Kittle should get his targets.
36. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens: The Eagles cannot cover him properly.
37. Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington: Quarterback is an issue on this team, but Kyle Allen knows which guy to throw to.
38. Will Fuller V, WR, Texans
39. DJ Chark Jr., WR, Jaguars
40. Myles Gaskin, RB, Dolphins
41. David Johnson, RB, Texans: Nice rushing game against the Jaguars, but still doing little in the passing game.
42. Jamison Crowder, WR, Jets: A Jet worth relying on! Yes, a few exist. Well, one does.
43. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers
44. Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals: Perhaps I was a bit overeager recommending Joe Burrow, but it was the Ravens, after all. It's not the Ravens this week.
45. DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins
46. Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington
47. Chase Edmonds, RB, Cardinals: You might think it's ridiculous to rank Edmonds over the actual starter, the one getting the volume, but who is consistently better each week? This guy is.
48. Kenyan Drake, RB, Cardinals
49. Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers: Hate to stick a "brittle" tag on him already, but he has to stay on the field.
50. Darius Slayton, WR, Giants
51. Julian Edelman, WR, Patriots: Well, he should be rested, and hopefully recovered from a knee problem.
52. Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings
53. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Cowboys
54. Ronald Jones II, RB, Buccaneers: Looked great in Week 5, and if we knew he would get all the volume, he would be ranked considerably better.
55. Melvin Gordon III, RB, Broncos
56. DJ Moore, WR, Panthers
57. Chase Claypool, WR, Steelers: You know not to expect four touchdowns per week, but how many targets he gets versus Cleveland will be a big deal.
58. Laviska Shenault Jr., WR, Jaguars
59. Travis Fulgham, WR, Eagles: Who? Here is the breakout Eagle with Carson Wentz's trust. As with Claypool, we should go week to week with expectations.
60. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts:
61. Devonta Freeman, RB, Giants: A cool 19 touches versus Dallas, and if it happens again this week, he approaches RB2 territory.
62. James White, RB, Patriots
63. Mark Ingram II, RB, Ravens: Averaging only 10 touches per week is not what we signed up for, but he remains the team's top running back.
64. Devin Singletary, RB, Bills: A mere 33 yards on 12 touches Tuesday night. Not cool, and no sign of a breakout player here. (How odd is it that we have Tuesday football?)
65. Marvin Jones Jr., WR, Lions
66. Jonnu Smith, TE, Titans
67. Mike Gesicki, TE, Dolphins
68. Greg Ward, WR, Eagles: Has touchdowns in two of the past three weeks.
69. John Brown, WR, Bills
70. Brandin Cooks, WR, Texans: Don't feel bad if he was on your bench or free agency last week. Must show consistency to become trusted again.
71. Adrian Peterson, RB, Lions
72. D'Andre Swift, RB, Lions
73. Leonard Fournette, RB, Buccaneers
74. Cam Akers, RB, Rams: Better ranking than expected because the other Rams running backs have struggled of late. Some leap of faith here.
75. Darrell Henderson Jr., RB, Rams
76. J.D. McKissic, RB, Washington: A cool 13 catches on 16 targets with three different quarterbacks the past two weeks. Not bad.
77. Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts
78. Deebo Samuel, WR, 49ers
79. Mecole Hardman, WR, Chiefs: It shouldn't take another Sammy Watkins injury to get Hardman more involved, but here we are.
80. Jarvis Landry, WR, Browns: We should all root for his lone touchdown this season to be the passing one.
81. Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers
82. Damien Harris, RB, Patriots: Many probably forgot, but he rushed for 100 yards in the team's most recent game, though nearly half of that came on one run.
83. Rex Burkhead, RB, Patriots
84. Jerick McKinnon, RB, 49ers
85. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ravens: Unexplainable how this offense can use him so rarely. Amazing.
86. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Broncos
87. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Packers
88. Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals
89. Christian Kirk, WR, Cardinals
90. Preston Williams, WR, Dolphins
91. Frank Gore, RB, Jets: Well, someone has to average 3 yards per carry now that Le'Veon Bell is gone. Look, all credit due to Gore for still playing, but he is still not a particularly valuable fantasy asset.
92. Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers
93. Hayden Hurst, TE, Falcons
94. Jimmy Graham, TE, Bears
95. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles: Has 15 catches the past two weeks. Um, sorry, check that. It's actually just 15 receiving yards in that span. Apologies for the confusion. This is not what you drafted, and you don't have to leave him active.
96. Brian Hill, RB, Falcons: Gurley looked great in Week 5, and if you think he'll play all 16 games, how awesome.
97. Corey Davis, WR, Titans
98. Cole Beasley, WR, Bills
99. Mike Boone, RB, Vikings: Now the main backup with Cook out.
100. Zack Moss, RB, Bills
Others: Malcolm Brown, RB, Rams; KJ Hamler, WR, Broncos; N'Keal Harry, WR, Patriots; Keelan Cole Sr., WR, Jaguars; Matt Breida, RB, Dolphins; Phillip Lindsay, RB, Broncos; Duke Johnson, RB, Texans; D'Ernest Johnson, RB, Browns; Chris Thompson, RB, Jaguars; Cordarrelle Patterson, RB/WR, Bears; Randall Cobb, WR, Texans; Benny Snell Jr., RB, Steelers; Golden Tate, WR, Giants
