VALORANT developer Riot Games is partnering with PAX to present the PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational from July 22-26 as part of the developer's Ignition Series.
The tournament will feature 16 professional organizations and four influencer squads battling for a $25,000 prize pool. The champions will earn $10,000 of that pool.
The preliminary stages will take place on July 22-23, with eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals on July 24. The semifinals are scheduled for July 25, with the best-of-five final set for July 26.

The event will be co-streamed on both the PAX Arena Twitch channel as well as the official VALORANT Twitch channel. Players will also be able to stream their points of view on their individual Twitch channels.
This will mark the second North American Ignition Series event, following the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers VALORANT Showdown, which took place June 26-28. That event was won by Team SoloMid, which won $25,000 for their efforts.
PAX is best known in the gaming community for its regional gaming conventions: PAX East, PAX West, PAX South and PAX Australia. Though PAX East did occur as planned this year on Feb. 27 to March 1, many companies such as Sony, Capcom and Square Enix pulled out of the event due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic. PAX West, initially booked for September 4-7, and PAX Australia, scheduled for October 9-11, have both been canceled and replaced with PAX Online, which will be held from September 12-20.
The VALORANT Ignition Series has seen events from many corners of the world thus far, including North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific since the game's official launch on June 2.
